Hi you Vegas girls, just popping in. I agree with Stacie - you can do this yourself soooo easy.

The first pair is my fave.

That's a lot for flip flops. Why don't you get a regular pair and crystal them up yourself? I was maid of honor for my BFF and she bought us flip flops for our shoes and her mom put crystals on them. They are too cute. I have them still, heck, I might bring them with me to Vegas.

Morning Stacie & Theresa & Dawn (where are you?) & Beth & Stacie & Marcie & Cheryl & Jim Bob...........:rotfl2:

Hi Everybody..Thanks for being so sweet, everythings okay. I've just a migraine.

Dawn, I hope you feel better fast. I can't even imagine how tough migraines are.

Beth, what are the smoking laws in Vegas? Are the casinos in the hotels non-smoking or smoking?

I am not Beth, I don't think there are smoking laws. There are non-smoking rooms. People smoke in the hallways & the casinos.

I smoked in the casinos. Pretty awesome, can't smoke anywhere around here.

Morning! Who's Jim Bob? OH! Is he our in-room entertainment??

:rotfl2:hmm...could be...

 I hope you start to feel better.

Dawn ~ I hope you start feeling better.

Jordan stayed home today. He has a horrible headache & not feeling good.

This is always a big debate around here.

Smoking IS allowed on the gaming floor of casinos, although most casinos will have a separate non-smoking gaming area, so make sure if you smoke you are not seated in one of those areas. And if smoke bothers you, then look for a non smoking section to gamble in.
Smoking is not allowed in convention facilities, hallways, bathrooms, elevators, employee break rooms, movie theaters, video arcades, airport, etc.

Also smoking used to be banned in bars that serve food, or have a kitchen. That law was passed in 2006, BUT just last month it was over turned, so I'm not sure about the bars now.

Beth, thanks so much for all that! So, bars that serve food - isn't that just about every restaurant on the strip? :lmao: A place that serves alcohol but also food... or is there some special definition of what a bar is?

Sorry to hear about Jordan...

It's different. Out here there are a lot of poker bars, taverns, and lounges and such. They are different from a regular restaurant. Those places that were bars, and offered gaming but also sold food or had a kitchen, were told in 2006 they could no longer allow their customers to smoke.

For many of those bars, it was better for them to close down their kitchen (laying off their wait staff and cooks), and still allow their customers to come in, order drinks, play some poker and smoke. They make more money off the sale of the drinks and the gaming.

Last month a bill was passed to over turn that ban, but I think it has more steps yet before it goes into law. Who knows. All the law and bill talk gives me a headache. :rotfl2:

But yes, the "bars" that happened to serve food were separate then the "restaurants". Hope that makes sense. lol

Yes, thanks, I get it now. Okay, no more headache talk. :upsidedow (PM sent)
