OKW - which building would you choose?

I heard everyone talking about building 62. Wondering what you would recommend. We are getting a 2 bedroom and want something near hospitality and food. We are travelling with 2 children and 2 seniors so we want to make things very easy for us. This is what we want --

- near elevator
-clean/newer rooms
- do not want use of stairs
-close to main hospitality

What are your thoughts? What would your 1st, 2nd and 3rd choices be based on upon. I have never been to OKW so I do not know the setup at all. Maps do not always tell full details.

Buildings #62, 63 & 64 are the only ones with elevators, they are the newest buildings. Based on what you have described I would request one of those three buildings. Otherwise, I would request to be near the HH and on the ground floor. Everyone can tell you what their favorite building is, but we are all different. I like building #23. It is the first bus stop at the end of the evening, it is close to HH, main pool. But, it is on the main street into the resort. We have only stayed in buildings close to the HH and Miller Road. Good Luck, there are no bad choices at OKW.

I think the point here is to make your requests and see what you are given. Requesting a specific building will not be a good idea here. Be general and your requests like smoking preference, 1st floor or elevator, near a pool....That kind of thing, and keep your request list to three or less requests. We usually make one request...non-smoking for medical reasons. We have never been in a unit or building that was bad. We don't usually let location bother us, because the buses all stop at HH, and it is very easy to get there on the next one that comes along if you happen to be on the far end of the resort.

For our stay 2 weeks ago we requested that our room be near the HH/pool & we were given a room in building #23. I was very happy with that location for the same reasons that GGOOFY1 mentioned.

i like the buildings next to Olivas...........i think it is 16 and 42-44
