OKW Lovers Thread. Part 2

We recently stayed in a studio and while we really liked the resort, the curtains were an issue. We couldn’t possibly sleep past daylight. Do the 1 and 2 bedrooms have better curtains that actually cover the full window? We’d like to try it again in a bigger room but we do late nights so I need to know we can sleep in a bit.
Oh the days to sleep in. I miss them. We love the late nights as well as I usually shut down the Gurgling suitcase. But, I can't sleep past 5:30 no matter what. Enjoy it while you can, as you get older it seems like that disappears. :tigger:

The window curtains in the bedroom are the same, sheers and heavier curtains, and the French doors (there’s one in the bedroom opening out to the balcony or patio) have Roman shades. The living room windows have Venetian blinds.

Hello All, Staying in 2 bedroom for 9 nights in Sept, Question, is there an internal shuttle to take you and all your families luggage to your assigned building, especially for buildings not close to the Hospitality House?

Bell Services will take you and your luggage on a golf cart from HH to your villa when you check in, and they'll come get you and your luggage when you check out. Have a great trip!

They bring all of Owner's Lockers right to my room. Almost always within 15 minutes. There are 4 and they are heavy so I tip well. I call bell services at 10:30 and they come and get them - sometimes, they tell be to stay in the room past 11:00 if they are really backed up. It's never been past 11:15 a.m.
Side note: Everyone of them are polite, fun, and professional. I'm there a lot so they recognize they name with the "4" combination.

I was looking for this info, too, so thanks!:earsboy: Do they offer this service late at night for arrivals after 10pm?

Awesome, I was just going to ask the same question:dogdance:

Staying at OKW for the first time. Any special room requests?? What building (Non-Near Hospitality House) is closest to Hospitality House?? TIA

Buildings 62-64 are the closest to hoapsitality at aren;t officially in hospitality, BUT because they are the only buildings with elevators, they are often held for those with mobility issues, or used as overflow if Near Hospitality is somehow overbooked. Building 63 is a Handicap modified building. Other nearby options are 15.16, 27, 28 amd 29.

You can also Google for a map of the resort to see exactly where all of the buildings (and bus stops and pools) are.

Tried to recreate the map in a higher resolution, as that version looks like it's been compressed a few times and getting harder to read.

If it looks like I goofed something up, let me know and I will fix it.

I fixed the broken link in my older post to a bigger version of the map. It seems like the lg download on post 1 still gives a smaller version.

Note: "A few years ago, they enlarged the traffic circle at the end of South Point Road, and they now use that for the bus turnaround." This is not reflected in the above map.

We've stayed at OKW many times on rented DVC points, and my nephew would like visit to reminisce and maybe grab a bite at Good's Food to Go on our next visit. I've checked the menu and cannot find if the entrees are still served with french fries. Please can anyone who's there and ordered QS kindly let us know? TIA
