We are DVC members and will be staying at OKW for the first time this Christmas. Does anyone have a favorite request for room locations and why would you want that location? I'm not sure if you are more likely to get a seat on a bus to the parks if you are at the first of the loop or at the end (similar to the situation of staying at ASMo and not having a seat because of All Star Sports and ASMu). What is the route of the park buses within the OKW resort? Is there a view that appeals to you more? Does it make a difference which level? And finally, are the handicapped acces. rooms different than a standard room?

Looking forward to a relaxing Holiday in WDW and OKW! I hear they play some Buffett music around the resort. Oh yeah!

**I saw a similar thread recently posted but I had a few more questions.**

Thanks!

I have seen busses flu by the time they reach the last stops (Miller's Road & Hospitality House) but only during peak times in the mornings.

The stops are:

1) Peninsular Road
2) South Point
3) Turtle Pond
4) Miller's Road
5) Hospitality House

I personally prefer the South Point and Turtle Pond areas, but they can be a hike to Hospitality House if you need to dine at Olivia's or go to the store...but on the plus side, the busses are never full yet and ANY bus Will take you up to Hospitality House if you don't want to walk it. To return, you can wait for the internal bus or walk across the bridge to the Peninsular Road stop and hop on any bus.

Also remember that only three building have elevators at OKW, 62, 63 & 64. All the others have stairs, but they are a nice, gentle rise of 1/2 flight, a landing, and another 1/2 flight. So if you have someone in your party that has a mobility problem, be sure to request ground floor or elevator building.

Bld 62,63 and 64 are special needs only now. I did request one this Sept and did not get it we did have a person with a walking Handicap in our party I did tell MS this and it seemed to get overlooked so you will need to confirm this if this is the case. This person can walk but has difficulty due to a hip injury and does have a handicap card but I did not push the issue when I made the reservation and was fine with the room they gave us as it was a first floor and directly across from the HH.
