I have an invite for a singles meet for you, TB.

Wait...it's an invite for a lesbian singles meet. Why do I get all this women stuff? First, I get a free sample of an Intution women's shaver and now this! :)

How did you get that? LOL! One of my best friends had such issues with men that she tried hard to be a lesbian, but she just couldn't do it. :p

So if I was a lesbian, I'd get all the women! :)

I love k.d. lang and Melissa Etheridge! :)

Oh Barry, NO YOU DI'UNGH!!

I forgot to e-mail you for that video. YOU are not invited tomorrow! ;)

I've met Barry!!!!!! And Doc too. :) I have pictures even. Maybe others on teis thread too, but on this page, those two. Good eggs they are!!!!!!!

Hey single people --

I feel a little like I'm intruding on a party, one that I've been peeking into since I spent a good part of last night reading the first 25 pages of this thread.

I don't know how I didn't find this earlier, being a night owl AND "Single Girl Extraordinaire"! I think it must have started when I was taking a break froom the DIS, and then I tend to stay away from threads that have a boatload of replies.

Anyway, I really can relate to a lot that you guys are talking about, so I thought I'd like to stick around a while if I'm not intruding.
Welcome, Jen! :teeth: You read the first 25 pages last night? :earseek: :earseek: We do have a lot of fun around here. No intrusion...the more the merrier! Single mom here...widowed, 10 year old son, 2 dogs. :) One is a flat-coated retriever, the other is a puppy...boxer/lab. All are my babies! :)

Thanks for the tip, Dan! :)

Don't get discouraged by being single! I've been single for a while and although it had it's boring moments-like not being able to go to the company christmas party for lack of a date!! It also has it's advantages. I've found that it's more important to spend time and have fun with my daughter and friends than to worry about some guy. If one should come around that is satisfactory then that would be great, but if it doesn't happen i'm fine with that-I don't need some guy to have a great time and make my life complete-I already do that and feel great about myself!!!! Keep your chin up!!

Take care,
Christine

A Boxer! Sigh! They always get my attention! We've had boxers in my family since my mom was a kid. They are the best! I have 2 boys -- a boxer and a lab/pit mix. I have 2 female boxers, my loves, living with my mom. I'm afraid they won't be with us much longer. I miss them so much. :( I keep meaning to take a "family photo" of me and my boys. They're such nitwits!

I don't think I've ever NOT gone somewhere due to a lack of a date, not since high school dances, at least. That's not even a consideration for me! I do everything by myself!

I expected you to say they're such dolls! LOL! You should definitely take the family pic with them!! Mine are both boys also. Max, the retriever, is about 7. Don't know for sure. Got him at the local animal shelter. :) The poor thing was there 5 months! Skippy, the boxer/lab, is 10 months old. He's driving me nuts with the housebreaking!! Here's the boys...

Aw. Gotta love 'em! Your boxer mix is not what I expected. Are you sure of the parents? My female boxers are 7 as well, but they've not been taken care of by my parents. They look 15. :( I'll put that family photo on my New Year resolution list.

Still haven't heard about any great plans for tonight? Except for our newcomer (Welcome!) Doc, who is going to the Swan...(grumbles, wish I could go to the Swan, but nooo)

I'm going to have to pull out that digital of mine and start taking lessons on computer hook ups. But that's not going on my resolution list. My list is short and sweet....clear out the clutter!!!

PW, thanks for showing us your boys! They are sooooo cute. :D

Here are my furbabies: Copper (died last January :(), Harley, Mr. Tramp, and Tiger Bear

Welcome Xtine76! Where does your user name come from? I find it funny because my mom has a beagle named Valentine. Sometimes I call her Val, but other times I call her Entine or Tine for short!
