Okay...I've called the Late Night DISers, now I'm calling the SINGLE DISers!

Woo hoo! 2004! How exciting. OK not really, but I'll play along. :p

Just got in from my "date"...notice the lack of the word "non!!!" ;)

Was hungry and needed a snack before venturing off to bed, so I thought I would pop in here while munching on some leftovers I found in the fridge. Hope everyone else had a nice time doing whatever it was they were doing.

My evening went well! There will definitely be a second date. :smooth:

Sadly I have to work tomorrow....ugh, though not till the afternoon! Then it is the traditional (in our family) family New Year's Day dinner consisting of a ham and au gratin potatoes (as well as some other stuff).

Night Guys! :wave2:

Hi folks,
Happy New Year from the West Coast. This time tomorrow I'll be back home, hopefully fast asleep! It's amazing how much you can stuff into a little suitcase if you're a good, determined packer (I love to hit the sales when I come home!)

k.

Happy New Year, Everyone!

LOL!! Can't tell you how happy I am to be done with 2003! Not doing the firework thing (what's up with that in a neighborhood?!) but looking forward to brighter days.

Didn't get the girls home until 2am. They're still sleeping. It was a nice gathering my friend had. Just her family, mine and two other families. With all the children. My girls (including the 3 yo) held up the best. Amazing!

My plans fell through for today...probably stay home.

Wishing everyone a peaceful day! (Is everyone home safe from last night?)

Happy New Year!
I got home at 1:00am. The party was small but very fun. And the neighbors were not playing their loud music outside when I got home! I woke up at 9:30 along with dd6 and got out of bed at 10 which I never do. It's a beautiful day here. We may go to the beach.:sunny:

Is it just me or does anyone else notice all the great people on the DIS who probably have great kids who might make a great date but I'll never meet? :earseek: I hate the holidays for this reason. They point things like this out to me.

Do tell. Do you have a DIS crush? :lovestruc

Actually, Jen...no. But I do have that itch to not be alone any more. Eleven years has been QUITE enough! :smooth:

I stayed home and watched Dick Clark in Times Square, like I do every year. I didn't want to be on the road with all the drunk doo-das. :)

Good thinking, Barry! :) I was DISing all night and turned on Dick Clark the last few seconds as the ball was falling. Hmmm...now being in New York on New Year's Eve I wouldn't mind. Call me crazy. A couple years ago a coworker of mine did it and had a blast! She also left her tiny purse in a cab! She had quite a time with Security when she needed to get her flight from NY back to FL. :earseek:

We need to talk. Want to be my "New Year's Dating Resolution" buddy? Heck, you can all be my resolution buddies, except for TigerBear, and maybe Disney845. They seem to be off to a good start.

Sounds great, Jen! :) For the longest time I said that being married once was quite enough. But I think a second time around would be even better! ;) But I guess that's putting the cart before the horse. LOL!

I was at the beach today at 3:30 and I swear it was the Magic or Wonder sailing by heading north with a dark blue hull and red smoke stacks.

I was on Match.com today looking at guys. All I can say for the most part is YUCK.
My friends say to call this guy I've dated but not heard from in 2 weeks and leave a msg at his house. They say if he doesn't return my call then I'll know. They say what have I got to lose? I may do it this week when I know he is at work. Then that is it and I'm movin on. I'm not pursuing a guy. Plenty of other fish in the sea or so they say. But where are they?

Well, I wasn't the one who sang with the Milli Vanillis! :)

Now two guys with one girl....hmmmm...that makes the ol' mind wander! :)

Yes, Legs. That link says that it's in January. :) I'm interested! Disney845...giving me a project???

I was thinking of going to the fair anyway because they have 2 coasters there according to the map. Whoo-hoo! More credits! Plus you can all get videotaped for the DIS Meets video. I think PW needs to plan this one. I get stood up at most of my meets. :(
