The bird...trying to be nice here, that is one not so goodlooking bird. It did look like it was sitting there protecting it's turf. Kind of reminds me of Big Al from the Country Bears movie saying "get off my grass".

First I want to apologize for the slowness of this TR. Life just has been busy and trying to fit time in for eveything has been a challenge. Somedays either I catch up or work on a post. More often than not lately I find enough time to catch up and feel guilty if I can't keep up like I want to.

Many of us are in the same boat, don't stress about it at all! Half the time I read an update and think I posted, but I didn't. I blame it on the phone and that's part of it but part of it is just pure scatterbrainedness.

An Update !!!! I see your Monkey That Bird looks really funny!!!I know just how busy this time of year is !!! I seem to have nothing but parties at work and with 2 jobs it is double the partying !!

I know finally !!!

I can only imagine how much party work there is. We have done a couple of lunches and well as much as I like to have a long lunch ... I really could have used the extra time at my desk getting some things done.

Nah, don't apologize. Stuff happens. As much as we hate to admit it, real life is more important than the DISBoards.

This thing I go to everyday... you know work... We are shut down for some renovations and well I feel like I am always checking on what everyone else is doing and then informing everyone of progress while the regular day to day stuff is not getting done. ( like being at my desk at all)

It wasn't horrible but you have to like bananas. Even then I would not get another one anytime soon. The only way I like over ripe bananas is in banana bread.

I was just saying the same thing on Capt. O's thread....I can update or keep updated, but not both. (And maybe not even either.)

I can sometimes read on the app but commenting or even replying is hard and the pictures don't always come up and are not big enough to really see.... especially Judys

Are the monkeys even on-stage at this point of the show? I didn't think so.

They run off the stage at the start of the fire starter and for sure are back on after the birds and "Can you feel the love tonight". I think during the act they come back on and are in postiion for the finale, but I will check for you next time....

The girl was funny - I think that guy always picks a small child and usually get s that sort of an answer and the giraffe lady never clues in the girl she picks to the low bleating noise and then tells her afterward...

Your update had an incredible and fun assortment of pictures, but I'm going to comment on this one-

Besides just being a picture beautifully capturing the moment, I enjoyed looking at the faces in the crowd. As the mom of a teen and tween boy, I am familiar with the expressions on a few of the faces.

This has been one busy month, and like you, I am barely keeping up with all things DIS. I am enjoying the pictures. Thanks for the mingo phone pictures, too. They put a smile in my school day.

Oh yes, busy busy. I had a few plans at work due to construction and renovation and I knew it would eventually take all of my attention as we neared the end but even so it has taken way more that I originally expected.
My mingo ornament got snatched in the ornament exchange but I might actually look for one since it was a cute one. I mean a mingo with goggles and an inner tube swimming???? That one is all me!!!!

I actually was able to get that one ACROSS the stage.... I have said I love my zoom. The right setting and a nice one of the audience and the the actor and his volunteers. I do see some bored tween and teenage looks but I am happy to see many more smiles and engaged looks.
