I was thinking when I saw this picture that you had a great place to park if one of those typical summer Disney afternoon rainstorms threatened and you decided to make a quick escape ahead of it. Guessing this might be a hint that I could be right........

I get more bad safari pictures thatn good ones. Thank goodness for digital. That driver was a comedian. Still not too sure if he really calls that giraffe Carol.....

Wild African Denny and Amy is like my North American Male comment when a CM is in the enclosure.

It was a great spot. I got a not so great spot in Oct and well spent a bit longer looking for the car.

Typhoon was the only place I felt like I needed water shoes. Most times I can tough it out but even when I spent a lot of time on a pool deck, typhoon was brutal.

I try to pretend that I belong at the Poly. I give directions, help drunks,clean up towels and call the bartenders by name.

That's so weird that they had you park on the grass. Did they tell you why?

on getting your EE Fastpass and then heading on to the safari (love the safari first thing in the a.m.). Great elephant butt pictures and I've never seen the warthogs that close.

I guess they figured it was going to be crowded, so they did in Disney fashion use every available space and moved everyone in as far as they could go.

What I love about the safari- it is different every time. Even if you get off and walk right back on.

Love the safari. So nice to be so close and it came in handy when I left...

I will spill I spent some time looking for the car in Oct. I literally walked out and had NO idea here I parked. It was close but about 5 minutes later I found the car. My Flamingo with the Mickey ears antennae topper was a HUGE help.

The safari driver's name was Bill- He was hilarious.

I think the Lion was not even visible. Must of had him down for refurb...

Yeah I had that moment too. How the heck to get out of there. Obviously I managed. I dont remember bumping a curb up.... Maybe at the end of the grass area there was a ramp.

As for "Carol" We may never know ... she is not telling...
