I don't know why, but my girls only gets sick on days that I can't wait for dr. office to open the next days. Most of the times it's at night on holiday weekend. That means ER TIME!! About three weeks ago, we had Kaitlyn in the er because her fever was 104.4 and it wouldn't go down. We had two er visits, dr visit, spinal tab, and bunch of blood work in four days. First her white blood cell count was too high and two days later it was too low. That means we had to get her inside the house for two weeks. Her white blood cell count is back to normal now. BUT this weekend January got her first really bad cold in about two years. My dh never says lets go to the er, but he did this time. The er was too busy and the time change lock the computer up. They only did chest x-ray and blood work. Send us home. Our nurse came in and said" if she was my child, I would take her to her dr. first thing monday." Her dr isn't in on mondays. I going to call tomorrow and hope she can get them in. She can tell she is feeling better, but now Kaitlyn is very sick and fever again. I going to make her appt too. January had her 6month check up with her cardiologist today, but I call to cancel it. I won't take the risk of getting any other kids sick. This cold/flu going around is bad. I feel like people think I over react and I need to let them just ride out the cold/flu.
