Oh Toodles!!!

I don't know why, but my girls only gets sick on days that I can't wait for dr. office to open the next days. Most of the times it's at night on holiday weekend. That means ER TIME!! About three weeks ago, we had Kaitlyn in the er because her fever was 104.4 and it wouldn't go down. We had two er visits, dr visit, spinal tab, and bunch of blood work in four days. First her white blood cell count was too high and two days later it was too low. That means we had to get her inside the house for two weeks. Her white blood cell count is back to normal now. BUT this weekend January got her first really bad cold in about two years. My dh never says lets go to the er, but he did this time. The er was too busy and the time change lock the computer up. They only did chest x-ray and blood work. Send us home. Our nurse came in and said" if she was my child, I would take her to her dr. first thing monday." Her dr isn't in on mondays. I going to call tomorrow and hope she can get them in. She can tell she is feeling better, but now Kaitlyn is very sick and fever again. I going to make her appt too. January had her 6month check up with her cardiologist today, but I call to cancel it. I won't take the risk of getting any other kids sick. This cold/flu going around is bad. I feel like people think I over react and I need to let them just ride out the cold/flu.

The both have RSV... Kaitlyn is worst than January. Both of their o2 level was lower than normal. January was 87 and Kaitlyn was 93.. January insurance wouldn't pay for any of it and it cost $$$ for 6days and she will need refills and $$$ each time. Kaitlyn's was meds was covered. They send January dr. papers to send the insurance company to tell them why january needs that type of med and they may approve it(it will take up to three days) They told me the wait three days and see if it was approved...I said,"my kid is sick now not it three days, I'll just pay for it.." They said," I don't know it really going to cost you." I said," I don't care, I'll pay for it. I can't take any risk on my child life lets just hope it gets approved before I need to get it refilled" You don't play around with RSV. They did tell me if it gets approved, they will refund my money... My dh is at work and i need to tell someone or just write it down.

I'm sorry the girls have RSV. Insurance stinks. It doesn't make sense, the hoops they make you jump through just to get your kid better. I hope the meds work and they are feeling better quickly!!

Thanks, I hope they get better too. Flu season is what stinks  Being a stay at home mom, I don't have to take them outside as much in the flu season. She starts school in fall and I know she going to be getting sick a lot more and I'm not ready for any of it..:confused3

:offtopic:I was reading another PTR early and I just saw more smilies on right side. He really likes star wars.. :yoda: :darth:

Scary stuff! Sorry to hear about the girls. Hope they get better soon and the insurance works itself out sooner rather than later. :flower3:

:thumbsup2HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY EVERYBODY:thumbsup2, if the girls are feeling better later, I'll post picture of them in their hats

Only time for a Quick note ( I am cooking dinner). Healing Prayers coming your way!!! I will be back. :goodvibes

The girls are starting to feel much better. I take them back for check-up on Tuesday and it's also Kaitlyn's 9month old check-up too.. My dh has been on the phone the last three days and GUESS WHAT!!! The insurance approved her meds and we went today and they refund our money..:cool1: The reason they approved it, was their no off brand.

We are going to eat lunch at Flame Tree BBQ. We heard it was great. Now, we need to know a great Ice Cream place at MK. We are thinking that our dinner is early 3:35pm, that we will get some Ice Cream before the fireworks. We are going to eat dinner at GKTW on Sat,Sun,Wed and maybe Monday. we are going to eat BF at GKTW everyday, but Monday. Our ADR on Monday are at 9:15am, what time do we need to leave? How long does it take you get from the parking lot to front of Hollywood studios.

I have no idea how I have missed you all this time :rolleyes1
You are going to have so much fun. You are going to love GKTW.

I know, I find new PTR or TR everyday.. The other night, my dh didn't have to work the next day and he lets me sleep in. I was up til' 3 in the morning reading PTR to get ideas.. I can't wait for the trip. We are planning to attend most the morning activities and hope to attend Mr. Clayton birthday party. We arrive at 7:00pm on Friday and hope to attend the pricness and pirate party.

Day at the park last month.. One of the only days that was warm this year. I can't wait for FL...

Your girls are going to LOVE Crystal Palace!

In 2009, we had our two youngest kids, my grand daughter and a foster child my son and DIL were caring for on our trip. The foster child hated the whole idea of being there, (he was 13 months) UNTIL we got to Crystal Palace!

He loved the characters so much it was unbelievable! He wouldn't let go of Tigger. Tigger came back to our table and sat with him for a while...he loved it! After that he loved Disney...and even let us take his pictures witht he other characters...prior to that he screamed every time he saw them...
