What the heck are we going to do *if* they ever release a photo of Suri?!!? What will we talk about!??!

I wouldn't worry about it. I'm sure Hollywood celebrity will provide some sort of non-entertainment entertainment.

Maybe they weren't invited.

It sounds like they (her parents) have essentially been cutoff from Katie.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - I would be on the first plane out and get her out of this freak show ASAP!

Suri's first pics would garner a relatively paltry $2 million - $3 million. One source said the concealment of Suri "stinks" of Tom trying to manipulate the situation by creating mystery and thereby driving the price up. Over at People, a source tells TMZ that the photos would fetch less than Shiloh's.
From the TMZ website today. V. interesting and typical Cruise. And, b/c he wants to drive up the price so badly, you know he's doing so to line his own pockets. Their baby was born before Shiloh -- so you have to wonder why Cruise didn't get photos out immediately b/c they would've had the high selling price and Pitt/Jolie might have gotten a lower rate.

Snaps to Brad & Angelina for getting the photos out and donating all the money to charity! They gave the public what it wanted ... and supported charity at the same time. And, from what it seems, the press has left them pretty much alone. Sure, they have photos from the Gwen & Gavin get together -- but those were of Gavin, Brad and Maddox on dirt bikes. Seems like they left the women pretty much alone!

No, Tom would donate his money to his "Church"

How would they do that? I am sure Tom's house is guarded heavier than Fort Knox. They would have to kidnap her.

Where is the A-Team when you need them?

Boy I'm gonna miss this thread when I leave for WDW tonight!

I did see some "There is NO Baby" T-shirts somewhere. Maybe the same place that sells the "Team" shirts and the old "I'll have your baby Brad" T's.

"In 1972 a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire the A-Team."

But seriously, I think there are groups that get family members away from cults - there was a guy who ran a company that did this on a talk show once.

I just gotta say it as the mother of two daughters; if Katie was my daughter I would be absolutely heartbroken and devastated seeing the recent pictures of her looking so sad and not talking to me.

That's the real tragedy here, I think...

(busily looking up the word "Svengali" to teach daughters to avoid such persons)

I have a new caption for this picture, and tell me if you think it fits:

"Oh, please forgive me. I was put up to this, really I was, I would never be caught dead dressed like this in public, but they MADE me do this. Dear Lord, please help me. Somebody help, please?"

Well, if I was Katies mom I would be there in a heartbeat trying to get her away. If the security there prevented me from seeing my daughter the first thing I would do is call every gossip rag around and then find her out in public.
Could you imagine the scene if Katies mom was trying to talk with her in a store and all Toms' people were trying to keep her away. The press would have a field day!
Yeah, Toms people could spin it that there was a falling out but I doubt many people would buy that.

C'C'mon Katies Mom....go rescue your daughter!!!

who cares....? :confused3
People love to conjecture about unusual situations and this seems harmless. Tom and Katie wouldn't care about a discussion on the DIS either so no harm, no foul.

Besides why do you care if they care? But then why do they care if you care what they care about? I think that made sense.

Ok, look what I found about Scientology and breastfeeding:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientology

Silent birth and infant care
Main article: Silent birth
Hubbard stated that the delivery room should be as silent as possible during birth. This stems from his belief that birth is a trauma that may induce engrams into the baby. Hubbard asserted that words in particular should be avoided because he stated that any words used during birth might be reassociated by an adult later on in life with their earlier traumatic birth experience. Hubbard also wrote that the mother should use "as little anaesthetic as possible". According to Hubbard, babies should not be bathed after birth, but should be wrapped up tightly and left alone for a day or so. Hubbard also wrote that breastfeeding should be avoided (in contravention of common medical advice, which stresses its importance for the health of both the mother and the child[34]). As an alternative, Hubbard offered a concoction which he called the "Barley Formula", made from barley water, homogenized milk, and corn syrup or honey. Hubbard claims that "I picked it up in Roman days." (Corn syrup is made from maize grain, which was unknown to Europeans before colonization of the New World.) [35] However, this formula is potentially unsafe; honey can cause infant botulism when given to infants under twelve months of age.[36][37][38] Apart from safety issues, the formula would lack vital nutrients, IgA antibodies, and other components of human breast milk.Hubbard had no qualifications to give pediatric advice and his claims regarding the care of babies and infants are disputed by the majority of doctors and health care professionals. Patricia Devine, MD, a maternal-fetal medicine specialist who directs the Labor and Delivery Unit at Columbia University Medical Center, said "There's absolutely no scientific evidence that taking [noise] away at the time of delivery will have any effect on outcome for the baby or mother."[39]

OMG! Suri probably DIED because she was fed honey! So, if god-hubbard was so against BFing, why the nursing bra, Tommy?

How do you "rescue" an adult? What if Katie refused to be rescued?

Is it just me or does it look like she is wearing a nursing bra? You can see part of it where the shirt is hanging low.

I had eyes like that after DS was born. I was so tired and depressed for a while, and basically looked awful. Bleh.

I remember that, too. I also remember reading something that Jett had Kawasaki syndrome. Suprising for scientologists to admit their child has some 'syndrome'

You really can see it in her eyes in this pic. I feel so bad for her to the point that it sickens me. I truly hope someone helps her.

Well, I would try to go talk some sense into her. Hasn't it been reported that her parents haven't even seen the baby yet? How could they not have even been allowed to see their own grandchild? Something weird is going on and if I were her mom I would be there trying to figure it out.
