So there is a Scientologist who admits his kid is not "perfect" (their def., not mine) Why would they need to cover up Suri if she is not "perfect"?

Having allergies is apparently acceptable to Scientologists, but autism is not. So,if there is something wrong with Suri, it would be a BIG problem for Cruise since he is a high ranking member - which is completely wacked, IMO.

But, I am hardly unbiased, since I think Scientology is a cult.

Oh, and Ive been meaning to post about the breast-feeding bra picture. Gimme a dang break. I breast fed - I didnt leave my hookies unlatched. Come on! And in a silk shirt? You'd have a big ol' wet spot in the front. Please... too weird, too perfectly staged. And - where were they coming from that she was nursing and she just happened to forget to hook 'em up??? Where was the baby?!!? WHERE IS THE BABY!!??!

They have this all scripted right down to the nursing bra SCENE to the shopping SCENES when she was buying stationary to the beach ball SCENE to the Colorado SCENE....

YUP...it is one big MOVIE and they have a Director telling them everything they need to do and say and what they should wear and when they should POSE for the Paparazzi!!!!

The only problem is when Suri tried out for her part she did not make the CUT!! She then felt terrible rejected and went off to seek the comforts of L. Ron Hubbard! We may see Suri in 2-3 months!!!!!!!

I heard somewhere that John Travolta's son had autism, but due to Scientology's views on disabilities, they say he has severe environmental allergies.

I just recently (last day or two) heard about this autism thing too. Was it on this thread perhaps? But you know, when you said the above it triggered my memory. I remember several years ago Kelly Preston (JT's wife) was going on about the harmful chemicals in carpet cleaning solution giving her son Jett (and possibly daughter) some sort of illness. I remember she was saying that she had her carpets professionally cleaned monthly in order to keep her kids safe from dirt and germs. Then she finds out that it was really making them sick. Does anyone remember this? I'm going to see if I can find some info on this.

YUP...she was even on an OPRAH show (a year or two ago) speaking on the effects of harmful chemicals and her experience with the carpets in her home exposing harm to her children. BUT I will say this was WAY before any news of Jet's Autism!!! I think they probably knew he was suffering with some ailment...pinned it on the chemicals...and now it has come out to the public that it is in reality Autism. AS, it has been sometime since the chemical story and I have not heard anything about it in sometime.

I have said this before on this Thread and I will say it again...I certainly hope the Travolta's get Jet the help he needs if indeed it is Autism.

I remember that. However his symptoms don't seem like autism to me. I don't know much about it--but I don't commonly hear about autistic children being rushed to hospitals with high fevers and body rashes.

After the # of people who post here on their children's issues and special needs...I'm not going to knock her for what her child was diagnosed with and what the cause was. Seemed very legitimate to me.

Kind of OT: Another woman was on Oprah during a "People who became millionaires by starting their own companies" episode who went through the same thing. Her infant child was constantly sick, nearly died twice. She created a log & noticed the her child would end up in the E.R. after every thorough cleaning day. Turns out the child was allergic to almost all modern cleaning chemicals. Even small amounts set the poor kid off.

The woman ended up asking her grandmother for her old, natural, homemade recipes for cleaning products. As soon as she scoured the house with the natural cleaners & removed all residue of modern cleaning chemicals, dyes & perfumes, her kid became INSTANTLY well. She marketed her own brand of natural cleaning products as well as dye-free, perfume free tissue, toilet & paper towel products & is now a multi-millionaire.

Baby or not, if there really is a Scientology reason for not being letting anyone around a baby, wouldn't their PR people make a statement about it, and when the baby can be brought out in view?

Why not just any PR statement to quite down all the hype? Or maybe all this this "where is Suri" hype is another PR conspiracy?

Maybe Tom Cruise doesn't exist...maybe those movies and all are just a figment of our imaginations or the matrix or something.

If Scientology is behind this, they probably don't want to make a statement since it will make them seem kooky and would be bad PR for the group. Their goal is to come across as a regular organization/religion, not one that is based on aliens.

Scientology has already taken a hit for giving Katie a "new best friend"/handler, so I'm thinking they are stepping back so they don't seem as strange.

I haven't read this whole thread, but regarding the last few posts about Scientology being the reasoning for this - I seem to remember that Kelly Preston (John Travolta's wife) posed with her baby for the cover a magazine (Redbook or the like) several years back. So I don't think it has to do with Scientology

Ya, ya, ya, so I admit I'm a loser too who's read the whole thread and have been since the beginning! Anyway, that tmz.com is now saying that Suri DOES exist. They think Tom is mad because he can't get more money than Brad and Angelina did for pics of Shiloh. I don't know how to post links, but it's on tmz.com. He's (or she?) has obviously been reading that alot of people out there on the internet (us!) think the baby may not even exist. I do think she was pregnant, just not sure who daddy is or when baby was actually born.

Look at all her post-Suri pictures. Her eyes not only look sad, they look PLEADING. I have read novels, where the author has described pleading eyes, I just never saw them in person. I now know what they are. Look at her eyes in the unhooked bra picture, look at her eyes in the US picture from last week....something is not right. If I were her parents, I would be freaking out, I would be on all the media outlets, letting the world know my daughter was involved in a cult.

I'm in no way knocking Kelly Preston or her son's illness. The illness that I was talking about (and linked to) is not Autism it's called Kawasaki (sp?) Disease. This came up several years ago and I just remembered it tonight.

I do not know anything about any Autism diagnosis, just that it had been mentioned as a possibility in the last few days. I've not seen any artical or source to confirm that he does have Autism, so I'm not going to even speculate about that.

NOW LISTEN TO THIS ONE: 7/13/06 Boston Herald "Star Tracks" pg 19 has Katie Holmes pregnant AGAIN and reported that Katie's parents told MSNBC that as devout Catholics: Mr. & Mrs. Holmes will NOT be attending their daughter's upcoming wedding!!!!!
