WOW!!! I just came across this blip on a website. INTERESTING theory considering that I too have heard that Tom is sterile!

REALLLLLY..so what this article said..was that the baby is Chris Klein's???

Why wouldn't he be out claiming he is a "new" daddy even if he is NOT w/Katie? ODD!

Does anyone else wonder why the media treats Tom like he is someone to be looked up to? I don't know anyone who doesn't think he is a whacko, but even Oprah seems to "look up" (figuratively that is) to him. Drives me nuts.
Can't they just call a spade a spade? Or a certifiable wacko a certifiable wacko? He ain't foolin the real world. I think the whole courtship, baby, engagement thing is a hoax to try and prove he's not gay. And Kate gets famous in the deal. Did anyone know who she was before?

Katie Holmes has been pretty famous for a while now. She was in Dawson's Creek for a few years which was a pretty popular show. It's on during the day now in re-runs.

It's all just very, very strange. I don't know any other way to explain it. I was never into Tom Cruise...I never understood the attaction. Now he's just plain weird!

Maybe they paid off Klein to keep his mouth shut? If that's the case, and it's Klein's baby and they're pulling it off as their own w/Katie "playing wife" (note, they're not married yet), could it be that Tom's hiding something (ie: could he be gay)? Of course, he could never admit this to the Scientologists ... but he could be hiding it from them.

Maybe Nicole's not talking b/c Tom paid her a large sum of money to keep "mum" as well!?

And, I do not think that Oprah looks up to Tom. I think she finds him wacky! Just my thoughts ... I have no evidence to support this.

Lauri had a copy of OK magazine that she was reading and when I thumbed through it (my story and I'm sticking to it) there was an article about how nobody has seen any evidence of the baby.

They did however, show a couple of pictures of both of Tom's adopted kids with Nicole as infants and they had stopped and posed for at least one of them so he didn't mind having those kids out in the public eye.

Well, I think one of two things has happened.

1. The most likely option. Katie Holmes gave birth to another man's (probably Chris Klein's) baby at a time when it would not be plausible to pass the baby off as Tom's. Just hypothetically, let's say three months earlier than the date released to the public. If this is true, then Tom and Katie would be forced to keep Suri hidden until the age difference would not be as noticable. There is a HUGE difference between say, a 3 month old and a 6 month old versus a 9 month old and a 12 month old. So I think we will see Suri when she is a little older. This theory would also account for the vastly differing sizes of Katie's belly in later months (prosthetic belly).

2. Not likely, IMO. Katie faked a pregnancy and they are trying to adopt an infant of the right age on the down low.

Both of these options are exactly what I was going to say. I really think it is one of these 2...

I have no idea who Chris Klein is, but wouldn't he have to be the biggest idiot in the world if this were true? Why on earth would he "give" Tom Cruise his baby?

I can remember back in the "day" when Tom was married to Nicole Kidman that there was talk that he was sterile because he had the mumps as a child. It was out there and the supposed reason why they adopted children. Fast forward a few years later and the whispered reason why he ended his marriage with Nicole was because she was actually pregnant and he knew it could not be his. These were the "rumors" on the street. Then last year there was a Vanity Fair article about Tom that surmised he was gay and deep under cover about his sexuality. I don't know what is what but it is all a little too weird for me.

And, wasn't the problem with his first marriage to Mimi Rogers that he could not have children?
Not sure on this one but thought I would mention it.

I agree with you, he IS Gay, and IS Sterile, Mimi Rogers came out years ago and SAID he was STERILE!!!! He needs to "come outta the closet."

Here's my holdup with the Chris Klein theory ... by virtually all reports, he's a very good guy, solid family, reasonably religious, well-liked, honest. I can't see him handing off his baby to Tom Cruise. I have a hard time swallowing that.

Or ..... maybe Katie was done w/Klein and moved on to Cruise. When she was w/Cruise, she found out she was prego, told Tommy and he said "fine, let's play if off as our own" and behold, we have baby looks a bit "older" than originally expected and now they're hiding it so they cover her faux pas and don't make Cruise look like a jerk and looks like a "man"?!? Klein would *never* have to know that he fathered the child. And, how in the world would the rest of us know it was Cruise's unless they did a DNA test!?

I also heard this! As soon as I heard Katie was "with child" I thought: With who?

Here's a question....Why would someone who is known to be sterile and has adopted not one but two children....try to pass off the "The hoax of the century" ?
