OK, i've read that their friends Will Smith & the Travoltas keep asking to see the baby, & haven't yet. And I know Katie's parents hadn't seen the baby for a while. Have her parents seen Suri YET?

I remember hearing on one of those entertainment tonight type shows that Scientologists have those "silent births" then turn their child over to the Scientologist in charge or priest or whatever they call them for 2-3 months and do not have contact with them during that time.

Leave your newborn for 2-3 months? Now really, what NORMAL person would hand their newborn over to any religious group for 2-3 months and NOT CONTACT THEM.

After I had DS, my DH wanted to go out on a "date" alone. I FLAT refused. I was NOT leaving DS even for a 2 hour movie....NOT HAPPENING. After about 3 months I agreed to a movie and took with me a picture of DS and held it in my hand and stared at it throughout the whole movie. Leave a baby for 2-3 months AND not speak to them for more than 7 days !!!

Don't you wish that just once when ET or one of those stupid show came on - instead of hearing "TOMKAT" or "The fabulous Tom Cruise and Kate and baby Suri" They would say something like... "Absolute wacko Tom Cruise was sighted today with brainwashed little girl Kate Holmes"

On a side note--Not only can Scientologists cure post partum depression and ADD without drugs, but apparently there is a way to make a person who is drunk SOBER within minutes I wonder if they have breathalyzer/blood tests to back up their research?

What is wrong with these people? John Travolta must be just as nutty to be involved in this crazy alien cult.

On a side note though, I thought I just heard that John Travolta's son, Jet, has been diagnosed with Autism. I am wondering how the Travolta's will handle that diagnosis being Scientologists! I would certainly hope that they would get the proper help they would need for Jet!

This BC seems off. Why would they list the 1st GIVEN name of the mother as Kate? Her name is Katherine. Tom Cruise also was born Thomas Cruise Mapother IV. He may have legally changed his last name to Cruise, but since his middle name is legally Cruise, than I don't think he is Thomas Cruise Cruise. I think he just dropped his last name for a better stage name, but his Mapother name should still be on this BC. Should the birth place of mom and dad be listed? Not just the state? Boy Massachusetts BC have oh so much more info.

The birth certificate is correct in its look, I just pulled out my daughters who is also born in Los Angeles County. As far as my information it just lists HI as my state of birth, not the city. The delivering doctor signed as the Attendant or Certifier and lists a license number. I signed the BC the day after her birth, the doc signed it 7 days later and it was accepted into the registrar 22 days after her birth.

In order for me to obtain a copy I needed a photo ID matching the name on the birth cerificate. I am wondering how a copy of Suri's BC ended up in the hands of a tabloid.

I just looked up what is required to get a copy:

*The registrant or a parent or legal guardian of the registrant.
*A child, grandparent, grandchild, sibling, spouse or domestic partner of the registrant.
*A member of a law enforcement agency or a representative of another governmental agency, as provided by law, who is conducting official business.
*A party entitled to receive the record as a result of a court order, or an attorney or a licensed adoption agency seeking the birth record in order to comply with the requirements of Section 3140 or 7603 of the Family Code.
*An attorney representing the registrant or the registrant's estate, or any person or agency empowered by statute or appointed by a court to act on behalf of the registrant or the registrant estate.
*Any funeral director that orders certified copies of a death certificate on behalf of any individual specified in paragraphs (1) to (5), inclusive, of subdivision (a) of Section 7100 of the Health and Safety Code.

Katie's parents still live in Toledo Ohio. Her mother recently told someone at a church function that they have NOT seen the baby. (This was July 2nd)

I had already completely forgotten they had had a baby, but man, this threads are fun to read!

About the baby being Klein's: it's not because they break up on a certain date, that they did "it" until the night before. So, although Tom might be shooting blanks, it's possible it's his.

nothing to do with "celebrity births" surprises me-i remember when tracey nelson (daughter of rickey nelson and chris harmon) learned as an adult how her granfathers had orchestrated her birth such that although she was full term (and a good size) they got the hospital to put her into an incubator in the preemie unit-thus covering up the fact that she had been conceived well before the marriage had taken place.

there have also been cases (moreso back in the 40's and 50's) wherein 'stars' took 'a break between pictures' and suddenly adopted children-decades later these kids learn their adoptive mom is their bio mom, and in some cases their bio dad's find out about their parentage as well.

I hope Tom and Katie are just keeping her out of the limelight and there isn't something wrong with the baby.

Violet's been pictured several times-and yes, she does look just like her mom.

US had a Suri clock up, and I'd check it once in a while, but its gone.

I find it very hard to believe that they needed the passport for Suri to travel internationally and NO ONE got a picture of them in the airport-don't you have to be there three hours prior to international flights?

That 'coming out' picture almost makes me want to go back and look at other earlier picctures.

I live here in MA and YES, many many photo's of Violet and Mom and Dad as they walk the streets of Cambridge, MA.

The Afflecks are residing here as Ben directs his new film starring his brother. They ALWAYS seem soooo happy...even if it is a pic of them with a cup of coffee and walking along the street. Seems every photo the paparazzi has manage to get of them, either posing or not, they look happy! AND, Ben seems to be the one holding Violet in most of them or she is in a stroller.

I don't think this was mentioned, and maybe I'm wrong....but I seem to remember thinking it was odd that Katie gave birth and they almost IMMEDIATELY left the hospital. Does anyone remember this? It almost seemed to me like they didn't even stay overnight (I'm sure they did, but it seemed super fast, since they had paparazzi capturing the van/suburban/whatever entering their "home")

But this is what I said last night on this Thread....don't you think if the Media put that info out there...Mr. Chris Klein would have RAN not walked to the nearest courthouse DEMANDING a DNA on this baby??

OR at the very least HIS family maybe ? the paternity of Katie's baby where they WERE engaged and where it is pretty much public info that Tom is sterile??

I cannot SEE Klein handing his own flesh and blood over to Cruise w/o some kind of Media involvement! We would have heard that "Klein has given up paternity and signed it over to Cruise"...type of tabloid nonsense!

That is not uncommon. When princess Maxima of the Netherlands gave birth to her first daughter, she left the hospital a couple of hours later, and nobody saw them leave the hospital, although the whole united press was camping out there.

But... prince Alexander showed Amalia to the press right after she was born...

Our prince Laurent and princess Claire gave birth to twin boys many months ago, and until recently, no pictures were distributed (and in this case, we are talking about people who live on MY tax money!!!!!! ) They could at least have shown us something. Now, he sold the pictures for 15000 EUR, which led to a scandal
