Oh, A Drunk Little Cucumber!! - F&W Fun with Bro and Sis Nov. 11*UPDATE 6/17* Pg.32

Being solo in Disney does sounds appealing, going at your own pace...waiting for no one!

Love the ride pics! :thumbsup2

It is very nice to be alone and not have to worry about anyone. :goodvibes

Thanks! I'll try to keep in the spirit and take funny pics on my upcoming trip as well.

Hahaha I enjoy your guys' expedition everest picture! I don't know why I've never taken one like that before!

YAY FOR A STACEY REFERENCE! :yay:

Hahahaha look the other way ;) Good Dinosaur ride photo choice.

I've taken that picture on Everest so many times that I seriously need to think about another picture to take.

Gotta love Stacey! She's great. I love watching her in the mornings when I'm there.

Waking up and going at your own pace sounds great...I really need to do a solo trip. Just a couple of days, to see if I could handle it! I feel like I'd be ok in the parks, but I think I might get bored in the resort, with no one to talk to!

Looks like you guys had a fun morning at AK! I love the Dinosaur pic!

It was a little funny sometimes being alone, because you have those moments that you would typically turn to your travel partner and say something sarcastic, or funny, or discuss observances, and you turn to say something and there's no one there. :lmao:

Stacey TV in the morning - you know you are there in the magic place! :dance3:

I love any and all Animal Kingdom pictures. Can't wait to be back in WDW next Sunday! :cool1:

Eeeeee, next Sunday for you already!

12 more days for me. Can't wait!

Stacey really is the gateway to magic! You know that you're in Disney for sure.

woo hoo for morning at AK!! Ok, I admit to only having gone on EE once. But, mostly because I've never really had anyone to go with. I rode with my niece in Feb. But, I would LOVE to see the Yeti full operational! In Feb he was just a shadow! I read somewhere that he's anchored to to ground and would take a massive refurb to repair! Don't know if that's true!

I would believe for sure that the Yeti would take a lot to repair. I mean he's a huge piece of Audio Animatronic! I couldn't imagine having to do that.

I remember him moving from when EE first opened. It was pretty awesome. I mean, the ride is still good and he's still pretty menacing standing still, but the first time he swung at the train, I was scared.

Man, I wish I'd have been able to ride while he was operational - I barely saw him on DBF and my trip, and even then he was less than impressive. I think we rode EE like 4 times, too!

Disney Imagineers are so forward-thinking - did they really REALLY not anticipate that the Yeti could break down? Really? :confused3 Oh well, still a great ride!

I know what you mean! It's like they didn't think through the semantics of how big a piece of machinery he really is somehow....

:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl: Omgosh! I can't stop laughing at your Dinosaur picture!!! That is freaking classic! I need to bookmark that under my "Bad Day" bookmark to make me laugh! :rotfl:

I love getting up early! It's so quiet and peaceful (and not broiling hot..). I need to learn how to take on-ride pictures for thrill rides, I'm incredibly paranoid about losing things and having everything stuffed under the seats ASAP (also a compulsive rule follower).

I love Expedition Everest! I finally went on it and it was awesome, though I couldn't figure out where the Yeti was supposed to be? I'm not sure if the strobe light effect was working (... okay maybe I closed my eyes) or what. But for someone who never saw the Yeti, it's not really missing?

I'm wasn't very impressed with the Safari. I didn't really get the reason for the poacher storyline, I wanted to hear more about the real animals! But I think I had the wrong idea about what it really was as a 'ride.'

I'm glad you enjoyed being solo! I had a small amount of solo time but it wasn't quite as fun as I thought, but that may have been because my boyfriend wanted me to wait until he got back to do any rides. A photography trip would be fun, I think.

The Yeti could be easy to miss if you're not focusing for him (or closing your eyes. ;)).

The Safari used to be very different with the poacher storyline and it was much more relevant IMO back in the day.

Okay guys, I'm off tomorrow for our New Years trip! I will be back to updating this TR when I return.
