***Officially Official September 2017 Thread***

Ahhh my FP day is Tuesday and I'm so nervous!!!!!

If we only knew the when and the what for the F&W seminars, demonstrations, parties and whatnot! :headache: My DSis and I are trying to figure out where we want to be and what to do for FP+, but it depends on the seminar and event schedule. It makes this obsessive planner a bit crazy.

I'm going September 16th - 22nd! My first time ever going to Disneyworld! I swear I have been mentally planning this trip for ~10 years though (not an exaggeration). I went to Disneyland when I was a kid, and then Disneyland Paris 2 years ago, and now I feel like I'm entering the Disney Park big leagues with "The World" now. :dogdance:

Great News!!
Bought some new tennis shoes a few weeks ago and started trying to break them in yesterday. I may have to get some different ones if they don't come around.
I just bought 2 pairs of sandals, and wore one pair today to start breaking them in. Sooo comfy (I don't normally spend decent money on good sandals like this, maybe I should!)

I can't wait for our vacation! The bad thing is I work right across the Highway from 6 Flags in Atlanta and I can see the roller coaster from my work bay. I am day dreaming about Disney and then have to hear the roar of the coaster and the screams of people having fun. It's pure torture I tell you.

Could anybody who is a frequent September visitor advise on the rain situation? I know afternoon storms in the summer happen almost every day but I haven't heard if that carries through to early September.
We love going in September but in 2015 did experience rain every day. Most days was only short showers that last less than a hour. Then the sun was shining. The rain was actually a welcome from the heat.
What I love about Disney is when it rains everyone puts on their ponchos and carries on with their plans. So fun!

Update on FP (window opened today):

Ok so completely done for now with FP selections (may adjust some times later on). But I did get FPs Flights of Passage (had a lot of times to choose from on 9/15/17), also FEA and 7DMT on the respective dates that I am going.

Decided not to get FP for Navi River Journey as one of the AK days I've got a morning there (the other time is a separate day at night) when AK is morning EMH so I figure I'll do SB for NRJ and FoP at that time..at least that is the plan. Sorta depends on how the reports are for the time before my trip (not sure yet if I want to be at AK at the crack of dawn as a lot of people are doing that for Pandora).

Overall FP availability seemed good. I know 7DMT and FEA were available multiple days and multiple times too.

Temps at the first of the month rage from 90 degrees during the day to around 72 at night with it getting slightly cooler as you get further into the month. Average high is around 84 starting in October so I think it will probibly be hot but bearable especially if you are going towards the end of the month.

Don't have a weather app but this is my go to site:

Thank you :teeth:

I like weatherbug's app a lot. Great weather radar built into it.

Cool thanks :thumbsup2

I purchased two of these in Extra Small: https://www.macys.com/shop/product/jm-collection-linen-blend-wide-leg-pants-only-at-macys?ID=4369372&CategoryID=50449&LinkType=&selectedSize=#fn=DEPARTMENT_TYPE=Pants&sp=1&spc=61&ruleId=9|BS|BA&slotId=16

Glad I got them when I did as the size is no longer available. I love the color Intrepid Blue! I turned them into a pair of shorts and a pair of Capri pants. With the left over fabric I made cargo pockets and attached them to the sides. These are very comfy. DH bought me a new phone Samsung Galaxy S8+ it's very long so the pockets are deep.

Oooh that's a clever idea, that's what I got the little strapped pouch for off of ebay because I have the Samsung Galaxy S7 and too big for pockets. Can't complaint though, it takes great pictures and video.

Sounds a bit like my last trip although mine was June/July and for a lot of the days it was rain all over the place. Upside is it cleared out some of the parks. I'll happily wander around in a poncho.
