Going to be there September 23rd-October 1st. Staying at POR. It's good to see that FP's are going well. I'm a little nervous about FOP but if it's not there then we'll rope drop it. We just got the HEA desert party for the 25th. I've been trying for over a month. Now just need to snag Akershus breakfast. :smickey:

Which dessert party did you do for the 25th, the terrace view or the plaza garden view? We're doing the plaza garden view that same night!
 
Please add me to the line up. I will be staying at Pop Century 9/8-11. I will be going to both nights of the Night of Joy and then going to the MNSSHP on 9/10. I'm being very ambitious and I'm going to try to squeeze in a little bit of Food and Wine, too! And maybe if there is EMH at AK I can ride FOP!!

Just got all of my FP reserved, No one in my family understands how awesome that is!!!! All of my TS meals are done, and I am so excited that it is almost time for our trip!!!

Oh, and we have our MNNSHP tickets, and the Stars Wars Dessert party lined up!!!

Oh and the ROL breakfast package, and our BOG breakfast and dinner, and CRT for breakfast!! I am just so excited!!!
 
All the desert parties sound fun but we decided to skip them this trip. We needed to leave some wriggle room since we have an almost 2 year old and will be on his schedule. Fastpass for us is 2 weeks today. Then the next big thing is for our magic bands to ship!! Once they arrive I know it is for real!
 
Today was my FP day as well. I only have 2 park days. I wanted a FP for FOP in the morning but ended up with 520.Trying to decide if i should book some other FP after that or wait and see if I can get the time down. I really wanted to be out of AK by 1pm :P

That was our original plan too...get in early and get out early. All of FP were only available after 5pm. I tweaked out schedule a bit. Now we are going to head to a water park (we've never been to either of them), grab a late lunch and head to AK. Still hoping to get out early enough to head to MK until we are ready to get some sleep.

That is one of the great things about the Floridan.

It is a short ride to Magic Kingdom. And not far from Epcot.

My husband was looking at our plans and said a couple of times, "Well we could also head over to Food and Wine."
 
Should I Rope drop Animal Kingdom and do FOP first thing in the standby line and get an early FP for Navi since i couldnt get FOP before 5pm?
Seems like RD FOP has been pretty quick and the standby line is supposed to be really well done theme wise

The much-anticipated Terralina Crafted Italian is anticipated to open this fall at Disney Springs in the space of the former Portobello Country Italian Trattoria. Good news, James Beard Award-winning Chef Tony Mantuano returns from Portobello to curate the new menu, and Chef Justin Plank will be back to run the kitchen.

A multi-million- dollar makeover is transforming the space in The Landing on the shores of Lake Buena Vista. Inspired by the design and lifestyle of Italy’s Lake District, the new restaurant will be reminiscent of an Italian home, with an open kitchen, dining rooms with eclectic décor and a new veranda bar outside the main entrance.

Chef Mantuano’s authentic Italian cuisine (much of it infused with his signature olive oil imported directly from Italy) will include artisanal pizzas and fresh vegetable dishes fired up in a wood-burning oven. Two new signatures – mussels and a grilled pork chop – will be on the menu, along with favorites from Portobello such as the antipasti platter and signature pastas. “Focusing on the hearth of the kitchen dishes will embody the passion and flare of the flames,” said Mantuano.

“We are excited to have created Terralina Crafted Italian with a vision to deliver authentic food, hospitality and every last detail as part of a memorable guest experience,” said Andy Lansing, president and CEO of Levy Restaurants, who owns the restaurant.

Terralina will be open for lunch and dinner – check back for opening dates.
 
Since AK is our first day I think I can talk the family into rope drop, Go straight to Na'vi and then maybe FP, FOP, Kilimanjaro Safari and Everest. Will have to see how the FP works when my day comes up.
