**OFFICIAL THREAD**Survivor: Panama

One thing about alliances. I believe, with only one exception, they have worked best when they're co-ed.

So, what did everyone think? I'm a little bummed they got rid of Misty. They should have gotten rid of the girl who lost the spear. :confused3 Although, still glad they didn't vote off Ruth Marie. I hate when the older women are targeted first. She seems quite more capable than the other two girls.

I was really hoping that the other team would lose immunity and they would vote off Shane. He's really bugging me. They should have done it last week though. I like Bruce and I felt bad that he had to go back to Exile Island although I have to agree with the other tribe's reason.

It was boring tonight.
Ruth Marie looks like she is going to lose it. I hope she gets some strength back soon. :(

I think it's good Shane's tribe won today, because if anyone wasn't convinced he should be voted off, they just need a few more days with the idiot. He's like a ticking time bomb! :scared1:

Poor Bruce :sad2:

I thought it was pretty clever how Bob played the final run during the immunity challenge....let her carrry the sack to the "goal", then used his strength to just drag her over to his "goal".

I felt SO bad for Bruce last night and yet he handled himself so well - no whining or complaining. He's such a trooper that right now I hope he goes all the way and wins.

Can someone please give me a recap from last night. I had a meeting and DH was supposed to record it for me. Well I get home and guess what something didn't work right because there was nothing there.

Yes, I felt bad for Bruce, but I completely understood the other tribe's reasons for picking him to go back to Exile Island. BUT......out of all of them, Bruce seems the most capable of living in the wild. And now he had another 3 days to try to find the hidden immunity idol. I hope he goes all the way!

So far my 3 faves are Bruce, Terry and Dan. I was hoping the other tribe would lose the immunity challenge and would finally get rid of Shane, a.k.a. Nicotine Man. I can't imagine having to live with that guy. :crazy2:

I'm glad to see Misty gone; it was obvious that she was using sex appeal as her weapon to avoid being voted out. But I think they should have gotten rid of the girl who lost the fishing spear (Sally?). And from the previews of next week, they're really going to regret not having that spear. If they get hungry enough and lose the next immunity challenge, Sally's gone.

My heart went out for Bruce too. I wish he was on the other tribe. And I am so very happy they got rid of Misty.

I missed last night but, according to the Early Show(they are always right ;)), the immunity challenge was full contact.

on the clip they showed, it looked like the girls were going to kill each other.

I thought the immunity challenge was one of the worst challenges I've seen yet. I thought someone was certainly going to break a bone.

IMO, you didn't miss much. Bruce went back to camp with Casaya. He shows them all sorts of neat outdoorsey tricks which really boosts tribe morale. They go into the reward challenge and sort of gloat about him.

The reward challenge had four tribe members standing on a plank several yards into the ocean. The other 3 members stayed on the beach and had to use giant slingshot to shoot balls at their tribe members. The first tribe to catch 5 balls won reward--blankets, pillows, tarp and water jugs. La Mina won and they were allowed to choose the person from the other tribe to go to Exile Island. They chose Bruce because he had lifted their morale.

Back at Casaya, Shane tells everyone that a tree stump he found is "his" and no one else can use it and starts yelling at people. :confused3 This man is just strange. Then he and the blonde girl just start fighting.

At La Mina, they show how they're having a hard time finding food since they don't have the spear anymore--remember Sally dropped it in the ocean.

The Immunity challenge pits the two teams against each other to dig for bags in the sand. It was a very physical challenge with people pulling at each other and sitting on each other. It was really dumb, I just skipped through it. Casaya ended up winning.

La Mina was trying to decide who to send home: Ruth Marie or Misty. They eventually decided on Misty and next week we see that Sally is a bit upset by that. She and Misty thought they had an alliance with the younger guys whom they have been flirting with the whole time.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. That was just a stupid, stupid challenge. Pretty sad that they couldn't come up w/ something better than that.

I think Bruce would most benefit from staying on Exile Island. I think he's among those most likely to find the idol. Also, I think he was beginning to get on the nerves of some of those back at camp, and this puts him in an, "Absence makes the heart grow fonder," situation.

I actually thought he was being a gentleman by letting her run.
he was alot bigger then her...and the way everyone was fighting, it was getting VERY rough.
he let her run...then just grabbed the back of her shirt and, well it seemed to me, gently yanked her over to his mat. (she doesn't look like she weighs much/had much energy...didn't take much effort to tug her off course.)

the full on contact was just bothering me.

and poor danielle...everyone got a shot of the 'girls'...the way she body slammed Ruth-Marie was just HORRIBLE IMO!

Thanks for the update.

I just found out on the CBS website that you can buy a download of the show that you missed for $1.99. Very cool idea.

Where is everyone??
What did you think of last night's episode? I missed 20 minutes. How did he get to go to Exile island. Funny he found the idol. Very smart knowing the why was a "Y".
I was glad to see Ruth Marie go. Love seeing them starve for a change!!

So far I think this season is kind of boring. La Mina lost reward challange so Casaya got to pick who went to Exile Island=Terry. I watched the Survivor Live show and they said that Exile was very small so with the clues it wasn't too difficult to find the idol. Hope next week has a little more excitement!

I'm surprised they showed us that Terry got the idol. I figured they would let that be a surprise for the audience too. I'm really pulling for the four men on La Mina, but I don't think they'll make it once they get to the merge. They have to win the next 2 immunities in order to go evenly into the merge. Even if they do, I agree with the astronaut that Sally will turn on them. I think they should have kept Ruth Marie. I was glad to see that the astronaut didn't vote with the alliance, that he kept his word with RM.
