My guess is that they discussed it before hand and agreed to let it play out since they had been in it together.

I really wanted to hear polling of the jurors if Cerie had been taken to the final 2. I'm really curious if she would have won it. Amanda was so relieved to have the game out of her hands that she quit playing! She just let the jury decide and Parvarti took it away! WOW! She answered Cerie, especially, with a terrible answer!! She threw away a million dollars!

I think they had their minds made up before they asked the questions. Overall that was the worst bunch of questions I have ever heard.


It was interesting that Cirie was isn't the top three voting for player of the game. I guess many people didn't think she was that deserving.

I don't think they knew where James and Amanda finished in China. I think Micronesia started filming while Survivor: China was being aired on TV.

Wouldn't that mean that James and Amanda would've been in Micronesia during the reunion show for China, which they attended?

They filmed Fans vs. Favorites in late 2007. The Survivor: China reunion show was in mid-January so they were home a few weeks.

Next season looks to be a HARD season and I'm glad they are finally returning to Africa. I think the old Africa season was the hardest to date...no ocean or fresh water anywhere except that little stream.

I agree; it looks hard. I think it will be interesting, though! This time it looks like they will be on the coast rather than in the middle of nowhere. I wonder if they will have some type of barriers to keep the wild animals out like they did last time? Yeah, they only had that little stream to drink out of last time...and it had elephant poop in it... I think they won a huge tank of fresh water at a reward challenge though, so that was good.

Next season, I see that they're back in Africa, but on the coast this time, so that should be better.

Did anyone catch the bit about the second romance? Mary said that she met Ryan(?) through another past survivor and three years later they're engaged. Did I hear that part in bold correctly? Which means they obviously met before she was on Survivor?

I was thinking they said three months and Ryan was on the third season of Survivor...I don't remember him though. He must have been voted off early.

I was thinking they said three months and Ryan was on the third season of Survivor...I don't remember him though. He must have been voted off early.

I thought I heard Jeff say three years too. I'll have to go back and watch the episode again. Anyway, Ryan wasn't on the third season. Mary said she met him through Johnny Fairplay. That they had been on the same season(Pearl Island) together. I think that was season 7.

You guys are right! I just watched that bit again and Mary says that after the show wrapped she met Ryan through Johnny Fairplay. They had their first date in December and 3 days later, he asked her to marry him. Wow! That's fast!

Just watched the reunion show this morning (well, we watched the vote part on Sunday of course) Mary said she met Ryan in December and I'm pretty sure she said it was 3 days later he proposed. I listened a couple of times thinking it had to be 3 months... but I don't think so. Yikes!

BTW, am I the only one who thought Jason's hair looked way overdone on the reunion show? Maybe it's just because I tend to like a more rugged look though, I'm not a fan of overly coiffed styles on men.

YES! He had really bad helmet hair. It looked way better out in the jungle. It reminded me of seeing Ozzy at the reunion show the first time he was on. His hair looked weird. I was thinking, he looked better when he looked like a caveman!

ETA: I just looked up Ryan O., he was in Survivor Pearl Islands with Johnny Fairplay. He was on the jury, but I don't remember him either.

OMG - that is too funny about Jason and the helmet hair - I thought the same thing. I didn't really care for him but his hair looked way better when he was out there then it did on the reunion show.

The one that killed me was Eric...same old mop top as on the show. I was hoping he would get his hair cut but....no....I thought Eliza looked terrible...of course...I don't like her very much either so....
