She was secure enough. She knew this was the only tribal council she could play it and she knew no matter waht it was Eric or Nat...why waste the energy...Cirie is running things and Parv its in her pocket....

Yeah, that's true.

I thought that it was interesting in that one challenge when the relatives came Parvati and Natalie (?) both voted Cirie as the one who mistakenly thinks she is running the game. Cirie is pretty much off of everyone's radar. She orchestrates plans to get people voted off, but everyone else (mainly Parv and Natalie) seems to take the fall for it.
I think the jury's anger is mainly directed at Parv and Nat, so Cirie is in a pretty good position to win, I think, except against Amanda.

I've always thought Cirie plays a much smarter game than many people give her credit for. Last time I think maybe she played her control position a bit too low key though. I don't think the same can be said this time around.

My vote for who I want to win goes to Amanda.
I'd understand if Cirie won and consider it deserved.
I'd be shaking my head wondering how the heck it happened if Parvati won.
I'd hate it if Natalie won, but if she manages to pull it off... well, maybe her game was better than I thought; although I think luck played as much, if not more, of a role in getting her where she is as strategy.

I can't remember exactly how things play out at the end, although I guess they could change it up anyway. But if someone wins a choice of who to bring to the finals with them... they'd be nuts to bring Amanda or Cirie if you ask me.

While I sometimes choose favorites, I seldom get so wrapped up in reality shows that I actually get upset if my guy/gal doesn't win.
ie: don't expect to see any OMG I'm never watching AI again, the voting is obviously rigged since my personal favorite got voted off before finals posts from me.
Whatever.

But I have to admit I was far too invested in Terry.
I REALLY wanted him to win! I think I feel the need to pout a little too.

I wonder if they invited him back for Fans vs. Favs?

I was that way about Steph. I hated Survivor and everything about when she got voted off both seasons....I was soooooo mad....like you said I got far too invested in her......

She didn't get voted off the second time though, did she? I thought she made it to the final two.

Great episode so far...I have to say, I will NOT be looking forward to Amanda's "pouty" look. I really hope she doesn't act like that during the final tribal council...I have a feeling some on the jury think it's acting.

I was worried for a second there. What a heartfelt speech. And James too. They felt really betrayed by Parvati. I'm still scratching my head from Natalie's speech though. I'm not sure what she was trying to get at with either of them.

I agree. I thought part of the whole reason she piled on to Erik at Tribal Council was to get him to feel bad and "redeem himself" by giving Natalie the idol... I think she would have won if she had owned up and made herself seem like the power player...seems like the Jury usually values gameplay/strategy over loyalty.

Well, they got one more blindside in...us. I would have bet good money that Amanda would win. I thought Parvati would get 2 votes(Natalie and Alexis) at the most. I think Eliza was the deciding vote. I wonder what would have happened if there was a tie?

I just have to say...I love James. And I am going to track him down and have him show me his abs cause I love them abs too!Somehow I missed that text in for favorite survivor thing. But I'm glad James won again.

She had her mind made up before she even went to TC, same with Alexis. That's why they askd such stupid questions to Parvati.

I think Natalie has some serious man-hating issues.

Once I saw that Natalie was out of the Final 3, I was happy. I would've been happier to see Amanda win, but I'm not dissatisfied with Parvati. Count me in among those who thought that Cirie was NOT lazy, and who thinks she played a very good game. I would've been happy with any of the Final 3 winning.

I thought the entire end of the season (tonight's final episode) was missing something; it was missing the excitement that is usually present among the final 4 and then final 3. They all seemed very somber going to that final immunity challenge. Poor Amanda was ready to snap (emotionally), I think.

Survivor Africa was my least favorite VISUALLY of all of the seasons of Survivor. I realized that's because they had them in the middle of the country stuck in that circular camp, and not near any water, and that was just not as visually pleasing to watch. Next season, I see that they're back in Africa, but on the coast this time, so that should be better.

I really enjoyed "All Stars" and "Fans VS Favorites"; I'm looking forward to the next one of those.
