Enchante Lunch Disney Wish

Headed on the 3 night August 1-4 cruise in a few days. We have booked Enchante lunch to celebrate my birthday. Something like this is normally way out of our price range, but having the $250 onboard DVC credit pushed me to book it. I think I would prefer a combination of the Passion and the Potager menu. Is that an option? I love veggies and fish, but I'm not a big meat eater, although I've read the chicken roulade is great there. Are these menus changed out frequently?

I've read conflicting reports that a complimentary glass of champagne is provided in the lounge area when you first arrive. Anyone know if that is true? Are you able to purchase a glass of wine from the Sommelier bin at the Rose during lunch? I would LOVE to do the champagne journey but cannot stomach the $170 price tag!

Enchanté lunch is lovely! The menus do change several times a year, although not completely. My wife and I often will each order a different menu, then share/mix&match. They will do substitutions if that works better as long as the substitution is in the same category of course (so a starter course for a starter course, etc.).
Sadly, the complimentary glass of champagne is gone, but they do have a champagne trolley with a variety of choices (and price ranges) by the glass. They also have a fantastic port trolley for cheese/dessert time if you enjoy that.
We’ve always had great experiences there - they truly try to do whatever they can to make sure you enjoy your meal. And if you have any kind of adventurous streak, this is the place to let it loose. I’ve had a number of dishes there that contained ingredients I normally don’t like at all, and they were all fantastic!
Oh, and make sure they know it’s your birthday - there may be a special surprise

Thank you so much! How would I let them know ahead of time? I did click celebrating "birthday" on the generic Disney cruise line My Reservation page, but I don't see where to add that to the Enchante reservation.

The easiest way to tell them about your birthday would be to stop by the check in podium in the Rose sometime the first evening and let them know (they’ll probably already have it noted, but just to be sure).
The champagne journey is five glasses paired with courses. It’s really nice, and a fun way to enjoy different champagnes for less than the individual glasses would cost. I got to try some things I never would have ordered separately. I don’t remember all the ones I had last time, but one was Ace of Spades, which is quite expensive separately, and another was an amazing Dom Perignon.
