So what happened - who got voted off?

Highlight to read: Aitu won the immunity challenge, Jeff showed Raro a sealed bottle with a note inside. He told them they had to bring it still sealed to the tribal council, and after they vote, they would open the bottle and read the note. They voted Rebecca off, then Jeff instructed them to open the bottle. Parvati read it outloud. It said something like "you have just voted out a member of your tribe, now you will vote out another."
they were flabbergasted. They voted out Jenny.

(Highlight to read the names)

Raro lost both the reward challenge and the immunity challenge.

After they lost immunity, they were given a small glass bottle, sealed with wax, and a visible wrapped note inside, with instructions to bring it, still sealed to tribal council. The tribe decided Rebecca hadn't shown enough "productivity" and had to be voted out, with some talk of Jonathan being next and Adam saying Jenny should go because she was targeting Candice as next. Jeff questioned them before the vote, and seemed to be the consensus. Rebecca was voted out. The bottle was then opened by Parvati and revealed they had to vote out another member then and there.
They voted out Jenny.

Maybe they keep sending Candice b/c they see it as mostly her fault? If she hadn't gone anywhere, I seriously doubt that Jonathan would have mutinied.
I think they don't want candice to develop relationships. They probably figure Jonathon might get on their nerves and get voted out. ALthough he's been safe so far. :confused3

I was thinking about something last night. Was that the first time they ever had to vote off somebody on the spot like that?

I seem to remember them saying they might have to do that on other seasons, but I don't remember it ever coming to that.

But as it turns out, I think that tribe is better off now. In a way it was the best thing that could have ever happened to them. Those two were real threats to join with people on the other side if there was a merge.

A preview from next weeks show was a shot of Jonathan & Candice tongue-kissing. Ick! Just seems gross to me since they don't get to brush their teeth.:bitelip:

I think you mean Candice and Adam not Jonathan!! :rotfl2: Now THAT would really be a switch in the game!!!

If they do merge then I wonder if Aitu will have to make amends with Jonathan and make him realize he's at the bottom of the totem pole if he votes with Raro - - of course he'll be at the bottom of Aitu also. Can't wait to see how it all plays out!

Survivor really hit a home run with this season! I can hardly wait till next Thursday!!

Yup. The Caucasian alliance is alive and well on that tribe and there may be a place for Jonathon after all. All of them voted for Jenny without hesitation. What a wake up call for Nate!

I don't want to see a merge next week; Aitu is working together so well, I don't want it to get down to individual immunities. Remember the season that had Stephenie and Bobby Jon? The merge didn't happen until Stephenie was the only one left on her tribe. Raro still has 5, so Aitu is outnumbered, and I don't want to see Aitu get picked off one by one when they are so deserving that they all should be in the final four.

I'm not quite so sure that Aitu would be picked off. Nate did NOT look happy to see the 2nd vote go against Jenny. He and Jenny voted for Jonathan. If he feels that Parvati betrayed him, not clueing him in on the Jenny issue, he could very well side/join in the votes that Aitu wants. And just the same Jonathan could very well let the Aitu members know that his mutany was a HUGE mistake and vote with them. Either case, it would give Aitu the swing vote.

For the voting off I'd like to see it go in order of who's next:
Candice
Adam
Johnothan
Parvati
Nate
Sondra
then the final three, I like Yul the best and Ozzy and Becky evenly, so either one being in the final with Yul would be ok with me.

Nate is the only one on the other tribe that I like. But Nate seems very loyal and I don't see him joining forces with the fab foursome! But you never know!

Parvati is okay because she does do very well in challenges. Can't stand Adam.

Count me in as another person who really liked Parvati and Nate. I wish they were part of a tribe with Yul and Ozzy.

Okay, am I the only one who thinks that, had Aitu lost last night, Jeff would have switched bottles and the note would have been different?

Remember a few challenges back, when Aitu got to sit in on Raro's tribal council and eat? They could "kidnap" one Raro member, and they chose Nate. Makes me think he's got friends in Aitu (he seems likable enough). Might he switch things up if there's a merge? He's got to see how things are heading among the Raro members. Or maybe I'm just wishful thinking, I like Nate and rest of Raro does nothing for me (Candace and Jonathan included).

I loved the show last night. Ozzy and Yul are my favorites, I hope they keep kicking butt.

I agree. I think Nate will be the next one to go for Raro.

I am glad that Survivor is mixing things up. Wouldn't that be great if they never merge tribes. That would mix things up for sure. Kills everyone's strategies.

Nate better wake up and realize that he is the odd man out on his tribe. If there is another tribal council for his tribe, he is the next to go.

:rotfl: Thanks for clarifying the kissers...I though maybe it was truth or dare gone bad!

Wow. What a great show.

I can't wait until next week to see how this all pans out.

Nate better wake up and see what is happening right before his eyes or he just might be the next to go.

Jenny deserved her fate, and Nate will deserve his just as much when he gets the next boot.

For them to look around camp and NOT realize that the original Raro tribe was now reunited, intact, and ready to align against them was just plain foolish. (Yes, I know Flicka is gone, but she was never a part of the Adam/Candice/Parvat crowd anyway. Jonathan isn't either, but he's a desperate hanger-on).

It sucks that Team Whitey is taking such a dominant role in the game, because it brings the nasty race issue back to the forefront. Nate may realize his goose is cooked, but it will be too late, because I don't think there will be a merge next week. Raro will lose again - because they are just a bunch of ill-functioning, petty, immature losers - and Nate will get the boot.

Unless - Parvati grows a brain and realizes that the Happy Couple (A-DUMB and Candice) need to be broken up ASAP. But I don't think she is that bright, unfortunately.

Oh well. Go Aitu!

Aitu, aka "the little tribe that could." WAY TO GO! :thumbsup2 It seems like having Candice and Jonathan defect just pumped them up so much more.

Wow - can you imagine if Aitu had lost the immunity challenge and had to vote off two of their four tribe members? It's almost like the producers knew (or "fixed" the challenges??) that Raro would lose and used the note in the bottle as a way to even-up the teams.

I don't want to see a merge next week; Aitu is working together so well, I don't want it to get down to individual immunities. Remember the season that had Stephenie and Bobby Jon? If you saw the previews, Yul says something about turning the game upside down. What I see happening is this. Yul has the idol. They merge next week and Raro votes Ozzie or Yul, whomever doesn't win immunity (yes, I am assuming it will be one of them). They bring out the idol, meaning that the next person with the most votes gets voted off instead, which will be someone Aitu votes for (Adam?). Doesn't matter, who, it just means that the sides will be even.

Why did only Jenny get to say something at the end of the show last night and not Rebecca?

I like Nate but Im suprised there is never any talk of voting him off when he often isnt in the same sync voting wise with his team.

Just a question...has the jury ever started to be formed before the merge? I cannot remember this ever happening. I mean Brad gets to vote on the winner and he has never been in a tribe with Ozzy or Sundra...that seems odd.

Yeah they are doing it a little different this time. Brad was the first voted off to be on the jury. I think its safe to say none of Jenny's old tribe will be getting her vote :rotfl:
