** OFFICIAL Survivor: Cook Islands Thread ** ‘Survivor’s’ new racial divide

That is possible, but it still leaves a mathematical problem: 3 to 3 to 3 (9 jurors).
But has it ever been close...I haven't watched that many seasons, but the ones I have it was always 4 votes right off the bat for one person.

Ozzy is my absolute favorite!!! I like Nate and Yul too. Different strokes for different folks I guess!! What a great show!!

I love all 3 of them too! To bad though I dont think any of them will make it to end.

Yul has the immunity idol. I think he will make it pretty far. If Ozzy makes it to the merge, and he just may, he will kick butt at the immunity challenges. I think he will be around for awhile also.

Yul is my favorite. I think he can prove to be the Terry of this season. A good athlete and seems to have pretty good integrity. I'm rooting for that whole team, because they seem to be a more cohesive group.

I really like Aitu, but they don't have the numbers going into the merge. I like Yul and was really excited to see him get the idol. Howeve, for entertainment sake I hope they "out" the idol sooner than the final four...I would just like to see it played.

Aitu dominated tonight! I wonder when the merge will come? I thought tonight was a great show. That double elimination was a shock!

It wasn't a shock to me. Get this--during the show, I happened to hit the TV Guide button on my DVR and it said for Survivor that two people are voted out in this episode! I had already missed the first part of the show and was just watching it piecemeal, so it wasn't a big deal to me but I can't believe that was in their description! :sad2:

That sucks that tvguide would do that. It was a great episode though. Aitu is on fire. They are going to be hard to beat.

Speaking of TV Guide....

SPOILER....

Next week is the merge.

I love that tribe, and I also love Nate!

Guess what else? I had the Early Show on this morning and in the previews for tomorrow's show they said they would have the TWO Survivors who were cast off the island!!!

Did anyone feel sorry for Candice tonight? I did a little bit but hey, its part of the game. Why aren't they sending Jonathan though? He was part of the mutiny too?? I wish Jonathan had been the second eliminated tonight. And he used to be one of my favorites.

Don't you think the double elimination tonight was a ploy on the part of the producers to make the tribes more even before a merge? I believe they are trying to give Aitu a chance number wise.

The reward was awesome and I'm sure something none of them will ever forget!

For someone who is pre-med (Candice) she doesn't seem very bright.

Anyone else notice how the person voted off usually turns and says goodbye to their tribemates. Neither of the ladies voted off tonight did that. Interesting how all this will play out eventually at the final tribal council.

I have NEVER, EVER been so attatched to a tribe more than I am with Aitu. I've watched every season of Survivor and these 4 people just surpass every other tribe, IMHO. If they all get voted off, I will definitely stop watching this season..I'm just in tears watching them enjoy their reward.

I'm on the West Coast so still watching the show, but I'll be back with my thoughts :thumbsup2

Aitu, aka "the little tribe that could." WAY TO GO! :thumbsup2 It seems like having Candice and Jonathan defect just pumped them up so much more.

Wow - can you imagine if Aitu had lost the immunity challenge and had to vote off two of their four tribe members? It's almost like the producers knew (or "fixed" the challenges??) that Raro would lose and used the note in the bottle as a way to even-up the teams.

I don't want to see a merge next week; Aitu is working together so well, I don't want it to get down to individual immunities. Remember the season that had Stephenie and Bobby Jon? The merge didn't happen until Stephenie was the only one left on her tribe. Raro still has 5, so Aitu is outnumbered, and I don't want to see Aitu get picked off one by one when they are so deserving that they all should be in the final four.

A preview from next weeks show was a shot of Jonathan & Candice tongue-kissing. Ick! Just seems gross to me since they don't get to brush their teeth.:bitelip:

I didn't feel sorry for Candice at all! She brought it on herself. Jonathan was really looked down on by Raro for jumping ship and Candice wasn't. The way I see it, they're both being "punished" (for lack of a better word) for the mutiny- it's just that each one is being hit by a different tribe.

I hope Aitu keeps going strong. I've never rooted so hard for a tribe before, either!

What moved me the most was the natives really seemed to be enjoying it also. I loved the scene where the two dancers had Yul sandwiched! :lmao:

I am in a Survivor pool. My person was on Raro, and I was jumping up and down clapping for Aitu. I hope they don't merge, I hope just by mere perserverance, Aitu is an automatic F4.

BTW, my person was Rebecca and she got voted off last night, but I didn't even care! I was just so happy Aitu won. And I LOVE how they keep sending Candice off to Exile. They shouldn't let Jonathan off so easy though. They need to send him next.

Maybe they keep sending Candice b/c they see it as mostly her fault? If she hadn't gone anywhere, I seriously doubt that Jonathan would have mutinied.

I am sharing the love for Aitu. I think it's interesting how Ozzy was sure to be voted out, but now he's one of the strongest players. I've taken to calling him "Mowgli" lately, mostly because I think it's funny.

I am also wondering who's gonna end up being the swing vote on Raro. With Adam and Candice being so tight, wil Parvati rely on Nate, leaving Jonathan out or will Jonathan make assumptions and put Nate in the driver's seat? (If I were on that team, I'd say ya gotta split up Candice and Adam. Doesn't matter which one, but one of 'em HAS to go.)
