** OFFICIAL Survivor: Cook Islands Thread ** ‘Survivor’s’ new racial divide

Why don't the other players see the potential for a Rob and Amber Style alliance between Candice and Adam? If I was playing I would want them off ASAP! :confused3

Don't these people watch the show that they are on?

I'm so glad Jonathan flipped back to the Aitu tribe! Although I don't understand why he had to take so much time to think about it; the "kids" on Raro were basically sitting around doing nothing - they couldn't even get water or start a fire - and making him wait on them!! They figured that Jonathan knew they could vote him out any time they wanted, so they treated him like dirt! I LOVED their shocked faces when they realized that Jonathan's vote was the one that sent Nate home!! :teeth: Next week will be very interesting to hear the conversation after tribal council. I just hope Yul doesn't tell anybody else that he has the immunity idol, just keeps it within Aitu (and Jonathan).

Really??? Do you know who has sued!!!

Stacey Stillman and Dirk Been, from the first series, filed lawsuits alleging that Burnett had convinced the Tagi tribe to vote for Stacy, and not for Rudy. Burnett countersued, and the whole thing was settled out of court.

Burnett also made cash settlements with Lex Van de Burgh (from an incident that occured in Surivivor: Africa where Lex was improperly scored in an immunity challenge) and Sue Hawk (from season 1 and All Stars, after Richard Hatch allegedly brushed up against her while naked).

Candance or Adam will be the next ones voted out followed by Pavaratti. After that Jonathon had better win some immunities because even Yul will not be able to protect him

Amber and Boston Rob were also really smart about their scheming. I don't think Adam and Candace have two brain cells between them, so they aren't as much of a threat. I agree, though- I think one of them will be the next to go.

Yul told Jonathan he'd like to be in a Final 2 with him- not that he would take him there. I just don't see Yul voting off his Aitu tribemates before he gets rid of Jonathan. He has too much respect and affection for his fellow Aitus (although it might be a better strategic move).

I literally jumped up and down after last night's vote!!! Nate had it coming! He seriously thought that he was running things! :Pinkbounc

If Jonathan was smart and didn't want to betray the tribe couldn't he have told his tribe about the idol and voted to kick off one of the girls. The idol only would have been played up against Yul. Yul was lucky it played out as it did.

I hope Yul wins it all.

I think Jonathan may actually be in a good position. Since he has lied to everyone, you would think that everyone would like to be up against him in the final two. You don't want to take a nice guy with you to the final two.

Jonathan's Raro tribemates were insistent on voting off Yul. He did try to get them to switch to somebody else but they wouldn't agree. I think that is why he ultimately jumped back to Aitu. I think that if he had convinced Raro to vote off someone other than Yul he would have stuck with them.

I, too, hope Yul wins it all!

If the old Raro members had voted for one of the girls, could Yul have pulled out the immunity idol and handed it over to whoever they voted for? I wonder if that is allowed.

Did anyone see Nate on the Early Show this morning and if so, what did he have to say? I was going to tape it but forgot. Too busy out with the early bird shoppers.

Jonathan is smart. Unfortunately the rest of Raro is dumber than a box of rocks. Collectively.

Adumb and Candunce wouldn't even consider the notion that Yul had the idol...even though they couldn't find it, and Jonathan couldn't find it, and Yul didn't appear remotely concerned about losing the immunity challenge, and Yul is obviously a freaking genius.

But no, on Raro, too much thinking is bad, and getting drunk is good. (Which reminds me, how gross is it that Candice kissed Adam after he puked all over the side of the boat? Repeatedly? When they have no dental hygeine out there?)

I can't say it enough, Raro is dumb, dumb, dumb. Yul could walk around wearing the hidden immunity idol and they still wouldn't catch on.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: So true! They'd think it was just a compass on a rope!!

I LOVED last night's episode, it's one of the best out of the entire series, in my opinion!! :thumbsup2

Since it was in Aitu's best interest that Jonathan flip back to their side, I'm glad that he was smart enough to realize what a bunch of idiots the Raro tribe is. While I like all of the members of Aitu, I hope Yul takes it all. ::yes::

I thought last night's show was the best of the season too. I LOVE Yul! However, I also just love Ozzy and hope it is he and Yul in the final two. I just love the Aitu tribe and hope those four go all the way to the final four.

This season is just getting good now, IMO.

I like Nate and hated to see him go but Im glad they didnt vote Yul. I would like him to hang on to the idol longer. I want Adam and Candice to go. They are really working a nerve.

Well, it's no secret that I've liked Yul from Day 1, but I wouldn't mind seeing him and Ozzy in the final two, and I would be happy with either one winning. Ozzy is DA MAN! in this round of Survivor!

I agree, the Raro people are dumb as a bag of rocks. I'm glad Jonathon flipped on them. I may not be a huge Jonathon fan, but he seems to be thinking, somewhat, after his disasterous "follow Candace" move.

BTW, I hope Candace is the next to go (smart on Aitu's part--she came in second on the challenge). First there was the whole thing with Billy finding his "soul mate", then Jonathon follows her to the self-destructing Raro. And her and Adam--they need to be split up. And I hope it's Candace before there's more drama around her. Adam looks strong, but he sure hasn't been standing out in work ethic or challenges.

I think Jonathon does need to understand, now, though, that he's playing for $100K, not for $1M.

I hope Adam and Candice are the next two to go. I like Pavarti so I hope she makes it to the 4 but Im still pulling for Yul and Ozzy. I like Yul a lot but Ozzy has been kicking butt out there since the beginning.

Now, Parvatti just annoys me--the mom in me cringes every time a woman says she's going to use her feminine charms to get ahead. But I will admit that Parvatti puts in a good effort on challenges.

Parvati annoyed me in the beginning with all her flirting but now I see her contributing at the challenges and sometimes she seems nice, like when she volunteered to help Rebecca (I think) study the flag map in preparation for the challenge.

I hope its Yul and Ozzy in the final 2 also. They are both awesome. Wasn't that funny when Yul was talking about the elephant when they were in the middle of the challenge hanging on to the log?

Adam just makes me feel like I need to go wash something. Ugh, he's disgusting.

Great season of Survivor! When was the last time there has been this much interest and discussion, and it really has nothing to do with the whole race issue that it started out to be.

You just never know. It's always the ones we think are going to lose that win @@.
