I changed resorts as well. From Pop to AoA LM Sept 23-30th with FD

FD is available during the month of Sept up through the 29th.

I am going from 8/30 - 9/5 I checked online and the resort is available however I would have to do an upgrade with the dining and it would end up costing me an extra 900.00 while we are there. So I guess 2013 will be the date for AoA.

We are in!!! We arrive 8/30 and check out 9/3 - Labor Day here we come, staying (currently) at Music but really, really, really want to upgrade to any Mod. Traveling with my sister who keeps reminding me this is a budgie trip, so chances are we will stick to the Music.

Garsh I love you guys on the DIS! I could hardly believe my eyes when I saw people were booking AoA with free dining. So....I went online (and then called) and bingo...I did it too! A whole $20 more got us a standard little mermaid room. Now I have more to research and plan and be excited about!!!!! WooHoo!

I just booked my flights!! Eeek! They were $200 less than I have seen before so I booked them.

I was hesitating on booking them because at the moment, I am going through my first union contract negotiations at work. There has been whispers of possibly going on strike.....

Travel insurance doesn't cover strikes (unless I lose my job which is extremely unlikely) so if we do go on strike, I will lose the cost of the flights

Everyone think good thoughts that I won't go on strike!!

Finally got my royal room upgrade at POR. I tried for over a month! Yippee! Sept 19-24.

Had ressies at Pop Sept. 23-28 but, changed last week to AOA LMR w/free dining! I even got a $59 credit! Can't wait!

I see AoA only has suites? Is that right, the rooms are 400 more for us to go there then to CSR???

We are booked! Arriving 9/12 at CSR! Me, DH (and the college soccer team he coaches) DS11, DD8.

AoA has only suites prior to September 15th. After that, the Little Mermaid standard rooms open. If you go to "Room Types and Pricing" under the AoA page on the WDW website, they still do not have Little Mermaid pricing listed. However, if you play around with the vacation package feature, it will allow you to choose AoA standard rooms for dates September 15th and beyond.

ETA: Little Mermaid rooms for September are about $97-$120 per night.

Looks like with AoA receiving FD, the LM rooms are selling out fast. I tried to extend my vacation there by 2 days before or after and there was no availability. Of course, I will keep trying since people cancel and change all the time. If you are considering a Sept stay or switch, don't procrastinate if you want LM - lots of availability in the suites still, but that's more than I want to spend as we are only in the room to sleep.

How are we getting ready? Planning our door decor! Glad that the set-up at AoA LM section is the same as POP, so we can assume the doors are metal. My DD suggested that instead of a Halloween theme, we do Ursula's cave as she is my fave and it goes with the LM theme. Those poor unfortunate souls won't know what hit them! (insert evil laugh here).

Thats an awesome idea!!!! I was also thinking of doing halloween stuff for the door, but LM stuff would be so much better
