We got our first picks too.
I am excited for this trip as we are bringing rookies! My sister and her kids as well as my parents. Everyone is so excited. Let's see we have:
Le Cellier for lunch, Cinderella's dinner at 1900 Park Fare, T Rex, and Chef Mickey's for a breakfast on our last day before we head home.
I can't wait

Looking at all this, I am thinking of upgrading to DxD...I mean 6 credits alone for 3 meals. We were planning on splitting some meals, but a lot of what I chose is buffet...plus we may try to do a few walk ups, if no one feels like QS....IDK!

I will be at POP from 9/22-29. I am very excited.It will be me , DH and my 2 boys. I am just doing quick service so no reservations for me Maybe next time I visit.

We will be there then too!!

Don't feel sad.... I look at it this way. Last year we did ADR's everyday and it was very time consuming and we had to be at a certain park on a certain day. This time we have the park hopper and just QS. We now can be where we wanna be and our time is ours not sitting for an ADR and losing precious time at the parks. I have been checking the menu's at QS locations so I can see who has the best foods for our family...like- at Flame Tree BBQ has ribs...perfect for a dinner time meal. So you can still plan just a little different.

So I got up early..logged on to the dining site..and nope..site not recognizing my ressie number..awesome...gag..wth? So I wait and wait then call at 7 on the dot. I get the BEST CM and in 18 minutes I have 9 ADR's, all where I wanted when I wanted and I am so excited!!

I will be at por around the same time.... the 9th-15th. Going with my aunt, she too has only been to MK... in the very 1st year it was open!!!! So we are considering this her 1st trip too!

It is so exciting to plan this trip with a "1st timer" in mind. She has given my free range to plan everything. Her only requirement was going to the Night of Joy concerts. I only got the base tickets so trying to work around the concerts and getting in each park highlight was a little tricky, but I think I've done it. I'll post my plans soon.

FYI: For everyone planning those ADRs, be prepared for the fact that the online dining reservation system is not working properly

180 days prior to your arrival date you SHOULD be able to make your dining reservations for your entire trip (up to 10 days). However, in order to do this you must enter your Resort Reservation # and the Online Dining system is not currently able to recognize them. As a result, people have had to CALL, rather than book online.

TOTAL BUMMER!
But I guess you can sleep an exta hour!

Hi everyone! I just made my final decisions on our ADRs last night and nailed down the fantasmic package, which we were on the fence about. So our ADR's are as follows:

Sat 9/8 Via Napoli - 7:00pm
Sun 9/9 O'hana - 6:55pm
Mon 9/10 Tusker House Character Bfast - 10:30am
Wed 9/12 Crystal Palace Character Bfast - 8:20am
Thur 9/13 Cape May Char Bfast - 7:30am
Thur 9/13 Teppan Edo - 7:00pm
Fri 9/14 Hollywood Brown Derby w/Fantasmic Pkg - 5:30pm
Sat 9/15 Le Cellier - 12:00pm

Sept 6th- Travel day/ My birthday Late Afternoon Tea @ the GF (Never Done)
Sept 7th- Ak Day Lunch Yak and Yeti (Love it!) Dinner- Fulton's Crab house (Never Done)
Sept 8th- MK Late B @ Kona Cafe (Never Done)
Sept 9th- HS I still need to decide where to eat this day. I have it down to Mama Melrose's or Sci-fi Dine-In.
Sept 10th- EP Lunch Le Cellier
Sept 11th Mk Can't decide what to do this day. I am leaning toward CRT for dinner. Since we are on the dining plan, and I would have 2 credit left per person this could work.
Sept 12th- Sadly we will be heading home.

I did that in 2009, although it wasn't correct in my notes, either. We were staying 7 nights and I didn't realize until halfway through our trip that I had made plans for 9 days instead of 8. Oops! We had to leave out waterpark day that trip. My son was not happy.

I'll chime in...we seem to have similar tastes!

We did ViaNapoli in February for the first time and let me tell you......I loved it!!
Best. Tiramisu. Ever!!
We're going again in September - can't wait!

We first did O'Hana dinner in 2006 and then again this past February........
It was meh in 2006, but in Feb it was awesome!.....
Yep, going again in September!

An early Crystal Palace breakfast is a family favorite of ours! So cool to enter the park before it opens, fill your rumbly tummy with Pooh, and you won't have to eat again until dinner!

We are trying Cape May dinner for the first time in September because we are finally staying at the Beach Club Villas. It gets great reviews for both breakfast and dinner.

Teppan Edo is another first for us in Sept. My 3 boys have never experienced hibachi-style cooking so I'm excited for their first exposure to be at Disney - they are more inclined to "like it"!

We have been to LeCellier for dinner and lunch. Now that my DS13 orders from the adult menu and likes steak, lunch is a little more affordable for us! It's another must-do for Sept!

Yak & Yeti for lunch - LOVE! (So great to take a break at lunchtime and cool off!)
Kona Cafe for breakfast - LOVE! (My fave is the macadamia nut pancakes)
Sci Fi - "neat" atmosphere (but I had my worst Disney meal there last October)
LeCellier lunch - see above
CRT dinner - good for you if your DS will go! My 3 boys, not so much

I booked Mama Melrose too @ 5:30 Fantasmic is at 8:30 that day
With that package you still have to get in line an hour before???

Not really, we plan on leaving the restaurant at 7ish. Fantasmic! that day is at 8:00 so we have an hour to walk over there, get popcorn, go to the restroom and get a good seat. We like to be in the front near the bottom. It still leaves us getting there at about 7:30 which is about what they suggest.
