I was just reading Jason's own tag.. (I guess you'd call it that, but it's not colored) And I realised... Last time he had to copy my "sort" of idea I guess.. Well he used code.. And then now.. I can see he copied PirateEmery's.. Whereas pirate's says: "Has the tag fairy seen POTC2?" Jason's says "Does the tagfairy play VMK" I think tags are supposed to be about originallity. I mean.. That's kind of lame if all he can do to get tagged is copy other people's ideas.

Yes, you first have to choose your own image. I chose "Pirate" a long time ago, with the creation of my vmk name April. I then signed up with DIS last month, choosing to continue with my PirateEmery persona.

I then took all those factors to "create" my tag. Something Piratey Related? I had just gotten back from seeing Pirates a second time, and I had been asking everyone I knew whether they've seen it yet. So why not ask the TF? The only ways I saw people getting tags were saying witty things or typing in code, but no one had really honestly asked the Tag Fairy something. This is indeed a real human being, not a Tag Generator. So, for a moment, I disregarded Tags and being tricky to outwit the other players. For that moment: I asked one person in particular that had been watching this thread whether or not she saw the great new Pirates of the Caribbean 2. Conversational, Friendly. A real person, not a computer that plugs in tags (much like how some people in this thread treat her).

You have to do something that suits your character. I am a friendly person that likes striking up conversations about my favorite subject, Pirates. That is who I am: Who are you?

As for you, you're doing all the right things: you have a given image (Surfer) and planning a tag to suit it. What I suggest though, is to never sound whiney in a tag "request." I suggest making some philosophical comment about surfing.

NOTE: If you suddenly start sporting a philosophy-related tag and you are not Ocsurfer, the Tag Fairy will know.

You don't really HAVE to. Hex had nothing to with my personality/username.. My tag also said.. "Can you read this tag fairy? Tag me!"

Off-Topic: I love your signature Pirate Speedy. The Princess Bride is my all-time favorite movie. Westley (The Dread Pirate Roberts) is the reason I am infatuated with pirates to this day.

Everyone disregard everything I said... wait... that wouldn't be original either! Oh no, I'm so confused...
