***Official November 2013 - Part II*** (that's right....we're that popular!)

LOL! I actually hope we won't be traveling as a pack most of the time. And we have three days with early classes so I'm hoping to roll with that schedule and keep showing up at rope drop. We can't get one of the three families to give any feedback at all, I think they're just way too busy with life right now, so we want to make it possible, also, for the rest of us to say "we're heading to MK, then EP after lunch. Hope we see you there!". And out, no getting dragged down and made late.

LOL I'm laughing cause I have just canceled and rescheduled ADRs about 4 times in the last house.
My husband was giving no feedback but now has decided to give opinion.

I really wanted to experience BW with him. But we had dinner reservations at 8pm at Flyin Fish, however he wasn't real exicted about the menu and neither was I for the 2 credit price. So we switched to Cape May but then changed our mind because we were not sure what time/how to get back to our resort without taking buses to a park which all would be closed by the time we did what we wanted to do. So I noticed MK has EMH the night before. So although we may or may not use the EMH we knew we could at least get a bus over to there and back to our resort.

So I was able to fill his input request.
Of course that means I've kind of put a little tweak on other plans that we had discussed with another couple that is going, but we did already say we were going to do some things together and some things not! LOL

I can't wait to be out in the fresh sunny air and enjoy this vacation.
AND not be on the internet looking at what I might like to do better. geeeze.

Yes! The other day I learned about the Goodnight Kiss at MK, and I've been scheming to make that happen, but I don't want to mess up our early-rise pattern. Ugh! Too. Many. Magical. Things.

I'm so glad you were still able to get a ressie where you wanted! I'm sure wherever you were Disney wouldn't let you be stranded. :-)

Glad you figured out I mean I changed my ressie 4 times in an hour. LOL

Well not having kids makes life more flexible to plan an ADR.

Oh great Night I have to look up the "goodnight kiss at MK". What's that all about?
the only "have to" get up early is for our Keys to the Kingdom tour. All the other days if there is EMH it would be nice to get there but overall we are much better at night. However with no kids/responsibility who knows what hours our bodies will be one.

Off to research that kiss!

Hmm ok I can't figure out why people would be in the park 1/2 hour or hour after the park closes, but.......I wonder if they do it during Extra Magic Hours cause I vaguely remember the announcement when I went with my son and the park was open for EMHs.

Again will listen to my body and not push it cause I don't want to be sick at Disney and want to enjoy every day!!!!

We love our adult only DW trips too! Late starts except our one tour day - Wild by Design this year. Keys was an excellent tour, information any Disney fan should know! The only non-flexible part of our trip is the F&W event we have each day. Those tickets are nonrefundable, so no changing our mind on those!

Been here since Tuesday for our Oct. trip and the weather's been great. Hasn't rained once. It could stand to be just a little bit cooler when we come back in Nov. but we'll take no rain any time. :thumbsup2

Leaving a park late isn't uncommon for us. We usually do a slow walk out, sometimes through the stores (at MK) to let the lines for bus, monorail, or boat go down. And because it's nice to have a leisurely, uncrowded walk in the cool night air sometimes.

I did Keys tour back in 2010 but my DH and BFF and her husband have not. So I enjoyed it so much I insisted they do it this time and I don't mind going again. My memory will have forgotten most of what the CM said. And I'm sure each time you see it with a different guide it's something a little different. And if it happened to be the same woman, no biggy cause she had 3 years of experience. :lmao:

And we have MVMCP tickets so we are non-flexible on that other than arriving earlier in the day or during that 4-7 window that ticket holders have. We have hopper passes so when ever we get there we get there. The morning is right now slated for DTD so I figure we'll take the bus from CSR -> DTD and then on the return we will take the boat to POFQ or POR and use the bus over at POFQ to get to MK for the party. :-) The only snag would be if I can't ship packages over to CSR but I would assume I can. Then again I was going to stop at the Bakery......hmm might have found a snag in my plan. (My son is on a gluten free diet so I was going to bring him back a cupcake from Babycakes....maybe they will have something more back packable or something in the gift shops at the resort. We'll see.

Right now I've been waking around 5am as my bladder wakes before me.
As I said we'll see what time I actually get up. Here I have a "boring life" so I can fall back to sleep but at Disney.....I might need to get up at 5 and get ready to get my coffee and move on with my day. We'll have to see what the fresh air and walking decides for me.

I would like to do EMH in the morning just so we get that extra stuff in and then take an afternoon break from the parks. Even if it's to go check out a resort that we have never stayed in. (thus the morning DTD and then POR/PQ detour) I stayed at POFQ back in 2010 but my husband wasn't with me. We were going to stay this time but when FD came out we just took Coronado.
I'm hoping I don't regret that I didn't wait a bit and try to switch over to POR.

I think my biggest disappointment about CSR and it's a minor one is that they don't have the little table and two chairs in the room. I don't really like the desk/business part of the resort. Oh well Free Dining and it's still Disney.

Now that I'm on this board, I know how to find discounts and I doubt my husband and I won't be doing another trip together in the next couple years.
And with my Disney Visa rewards, maybe we will be able to afford more another time.

Rambling. Sorry. It's been a very lazy wet rainy day here. Looking for some bright thoughts. :goodvibes

Ya October is still a little on the hot side in Florida.
Glad you are enjoying no rain. I bet the early mornings are nice though.

So quiet today! 47 Days for me! How bout you guys?!

24 for us and 6 days of work left for me(at my paying job)!!!:cool1: And nothing is done! About 12 loads of laundry waiting since our dryer broke.:headache:

Wow!! Getting SO close!! Did you start packing yet?!

I've been mostly packed since Labor Day weekend!!! :rotfl: (after I installed the sink and got the stitches. lol) However, I keep adding things (like the Muppet shirts) and checking and rechecking the list. I should be done by the 25th and won't touch anything but the carry on bags at that point. The big problem is that the weather has been in the 80s and, for the kids to be comfortable, I can't pack their shorts yet.

I would offer my dryer, but why would you drive 1/2 an hour for laundry services?

I've been working on organizing my clothes on a rack. Most of what I planned to pack is in the wash. I think once that load is done I will pack and zip it closed and figure out how to live on what I have that isn't in the suitcase.

Why drive 1/2 hour? Silly I would if I was getting to spend time with a friend. Sure beats a closer place and no one to talk to. :thumbsup2

40 days for us! Made DH a mickey pancake this morning. :) He thought it was funny.

I thought it was funny last night when he actually gave me more input and yet again I changed an ADR. It's a learning process of what TS offers what foods and the changes in menu depending on the time of day. Never mind the location and how to get from one place to the next with Disney transports. Geeeze.

Did everyone see the notice about part of the monorail being down for a couple weeks during the day? I don't understand the systems as I've never stayed in monorail resorts but it sounded like only the resort monorails. So I assume there is boat and bus options if you need to get back to the resort.

Hope everyone has a pixiedust: day. I can use one. Last week was a tough one.

:grouphug:
