***Official November 2013 - Part II*** (that's right....we're that popular!)

The 17-23rd:)

You should definitely have swimmable days... The earlier you go, the better. Last year we went Thanksgiving week and the week after and only two days were nice enough. Depends on you and your family too... enjoy!

Just an FYI, the F&W booths are not open during EMH.

I did FP+ just because too. Not really necessary, as we are in each park for the am, then over to F&W for the afternoon/evening. And we have found doing TT or M:S after F&W, not such a good idea. Soarin' is a good evening FP+ or visit during EMH! It was fun thinking about our usual route through each park, and organizing the FP+ in a logical manner. Can't wait to try them out in four weeks!

I wondered about that- thanks for the fyi! I figure we should be done stuffing ourselves by 9pm though:lmao:
I agree about planning by your "usual route". Woo hoo! Looks like we'll be there around the same time- can't wait!

So, if I post my itinerary later would anyone look over it for me? My mom and I, the planners for the group, have decided we want to have an idea of which parks we are going to visit when, and then what order to ride our priority rides depending on when we arrive at the park in question. We have some morning classes and at least a half-day at Sea World planned which mean some days we will be hopping into a park near lunch or later.

One good thing I discovered: I was thinking how I'm all worried about crowds in spite of the low predictions, and how the real problem is that I have no perspective. Our last trip was 2 1/2 yrs ago, before I knew about The Dis or easywdw or TP, so I read a book and did my best, which was okay but not great, really felt like we missed a lot. So I thought, hey, let's look and see what those crowds were rated! Dude, apparently we were in level 8 & 9 crowds, with NO touring plan and NEVER making rope drop. No wonder we didn't get anything done! This time our highest prediction is a 4/10 and I know SO much more. I should really chill, but the planning is too much fun.:-)

Hi,
Does anyone use Undercover Tourist for planning crowds? We have our past two trips because I did not know about the others. Any preferences between UT and easyWDW? They are very different which is concerning.
Thanks!

I've been there when crowd levels are 9/10 because I didn't have access to look up that information and the AAA agent was useless in sharing that we picked a week that was worse than the week we were avoiding.

My thoughts are if I end up there on a 9/10 again, which this time it doesn't look like more than a 4, I will take advantage of Extra magic hours but hop to another park with lower crowds by mid morning the latest.
Also even with our lower crowd rate, what we did was get a FP+ for our favorite "I really want to do this" ride, and then plan to be flexible and go with the flow for the rest of the day.

I'm not traveling with kids, and being an adult that has been there before probably has me less stressed. But that doesn't mean I don't keep coming here and reading. :rotfl:

I was going to say you can't do Disney wrong if you have the right attitude, but I'm not 100% sure I believe that either.
If you have been reading along with the posts and take your parties needs into perspective, I'm sure your vacation will be full of pixiedust:.

I promise to come back after my vacation and let you know if my attitude/plan worked. LOL

41 days :dance3:
Can't wait.
Really should do some packing today. :)

Hi everyone! :wave2:

Glad to meet others who are excited for a November visit to our happy place!!

My dates are 9th thru 16th at Pop!

I will be solo for part and then my sister, niece, and nieces babies will be joining (as they live in Florida).

I'm looking forward to getting a magicband soon as it will make it seem even closer.

I am now so obsessed with daydreaming about my trip that I am having trouble concentrating at work. But people at work just don't understand the importance of WDW. :sad2:

Can't wait for some pixie dust days! pixiedust:

I just looked at Undercover then Touring Plans as well. Both of those are showing slightly better crowd predictions than WDW fur the week were going. Just going to hope firv the best.

Thank you both for the insight. It's hard when one place is giving you res and the the other green for the same day. It was a good reminder that attitude is everything and really my husband throws all my planning out the door once we get there and we fly with what my oldest (5) feels like seeing for the day and we always have a blast!! This year I am just trying to set up our FP+.

I've always used UT, and plans have gone fine. When the crowd levels are low, even the busiest parks aren't too bad. This year I wrote down the predictions for UT, easyWDW, and TP, and am going to see which one I feel is more accurate. Although, my interpretation may be skewed as well, we always visit the last week of Oct or first week of Nov. Usually. Ended up going in early Oct last year, and spent a Saturday at EP. Crowd calendars say 7, I would have given it a 9. :crowded:

If we go over to the Boardwalk at night,
It's my understanding the entertainment is mostly around 8-9 pm.

1)so probably not a good time to have a dinner reservation at Cape May
2) even if we walk over after Cape May, how do the buses work to get me back to my resort since I can't go back through Epcot once the park is closed?

Are there buses at BW to get me back to my resort?
Or do I have to get to the transportation center and over to the resort buses and how late will those run??

There is no EMH that night.

I'm going the same week you are, so we're looking at the same crowds, but I'm traveling with a bigger total group (6 adults, 7 kids) and staying off site, no EMH or FP+ to work with, so I feel I should do at least a little in-my-head planning even if we don't stick strictly to it. That way if we do get blown off course for some smelling-the-roses fun I have a better chance of getting us back in the groove without too much hassle. When I post it I think you'll see what I mean. :-)

I keep seeing everyone say "use easywdw.com to pick your park, then once there use a Touring Plan to move through the park". So that's what I'm doing, mostly.

From what I read the crowds are not a big deal our week.
If I didn't have FP+ my plan was to go right to my #1 and either grab fp or get in line. Then the rest of the day I get to what I can get to.
Ya you do have a bigger party which makes getting out the door a little slower but as you are doing, planning for at least the first stop will make things flow better.

with a full week, you should be able to make sure everyone gets their #1 and then get some extra stuff in there. I honestly am not anticipating the 60-70 minute waits we experienced years ago. The crowd levels even from the sites that have the higher number, I think at most we are at 4 other than arrival day which is a SAturday ending a busy week.

Deep breathes! It's Disney and you will have fun.
Most important advise I can give is to watch your morning time. The later you get there the harder it is to get into what you want. A friend of ours just went and the wife didn't take that advise serious. They did way more rushing to get from the off property traffic into the parking and to the ADR or other plans of that morning.

Good luck. Probably will see you there at some point. LOL I'll watch for the party of 13.

LOL! I actually hope we won't be traveling as a pack most of the time. And we have three days with early classes so I'm hoping to roll with that schedule and keep showing up at rope drop. We can't get one of the three families to give any feedback at all, I think they're just way too busy with life right now, so we want to make it possible, also, for the rest of us to say "we're heading to MK, then EP after lunch. Hope we see you there!". And out, no getting dragged down and made late.

Hey guys am rethinking my trip plan now. Tell me if I am insane. Original plan...

11/10 arrive in afternoon, kids go to hang with nana at resort DH and I go out to Cali grill
11/11 vet day. Resort day...pool, play, etc. staying at AoA. Returning rental car by 10 at car care center. Ohana at 5, bed by 8.
11/12 MK rope drop til we drop or the park closes. ((TP rates MK a
11/13 AK has EMH at 8, try to make it, if we don't we will be there by 9 latest. Stay til we are too tired or the park closes at 5, eithe rest there or go to DTD? Not sure for dinner.
11/14 go home, ME leaves with us on it at 11:30 am

As much as we wanted to avoid crowds on Veterans Day I am getting scared two long park days will be so hard physically? Possible new plan

11/11 return car (this messes up going to a park a bit but maybe my husband can return car then meet us. Or we cna return later at night and cab back to the AoA sunday. Go to AK until we have to get transport over to the poly for Ohana ressie at 5. try to go to bed early.
11/12 resort day, maybe do DTD for dinner or a resort meal. Try to get kids in bed before 8
11/13 MK rope drop to close

We are going with DD6, DS2 and nana62 lol.
