***Official November 2013 - Part II*** (that's right....we're that popular!)

Congrats, that is great. It does help to stalk the site. Unfortunately the site is such a pain at times. I found a better lunch time for our HS day and when I clinked it and accepted the terms I got the dreaded "server is busy" Donald. Then the time disappeared when I reloaded. Same thing happened with our breakfast at Ohana. It takes a good 20 minuted for that slot to get released back into the system (it seems to hold it for you not realizing the server busy response). One night I had to do it 4 different times over the course of 2 hours until I got the darn ressie, I didn't want to wait until the next day despite the busy messages because I was affraid it would be gone. We are a party of 7 so it is hard to book....

I have gotten that "server is busy" screen so many times I want to scream. It was especially frustrating when I was trying to make my FD resort reservation, and couldn't get it. A few times though when it did come up, before it became "unbusy", I had gotten an email with my reservation confirmation, so it does go through sometimes.

And yes if your party is more than 4 people, it seems almost impossible to get the ADR's you want.:headache:

Yeah, Disney doesn't seem fond of the family of 5. I think what annoys me most is that they don't allow 5 in some of the 1 bedroom villas even though they are bigger than the deluxes that allow 5. I really want to stay at the WL, but I would have to get a 2 bedroom for our family of 5, that is insane.

Dinner. We have a 7:55 and I was trying for closer to 7.

Oh, I was just asking because I *might* be giving up a breakfast reservation on 11/19 there, but I'm not sure yet. That doesn't help you though.

You get the passports stamped at the Kidcot station in each country. The one you can buy is very nice with stickers for different country landmarks. We used it on our first trip, but we used DISigner passports for subsequent trips. Ill try to post some links tonight of my favorites. We used a holiday-themed one for our last Dec trip. Also, not sure of your dates, but there is a free passport for Food & Wine where you can check off the food you eat and get stamped by each booth. Thats a fun souvenir too. Not sure where you heard the journaling card referenced, but in the scrapbooking world it refers to a pre-made card with space (sometimes lines) for journaling. They have gotten very popular with Project Life and other pocket scrapbooking products. They generally come in 4x6 or 3x4 in a wide variety of colors, styles and themes. And, yes, people do carry them on trips to jot down details that they can later put directly onto a scrapbook page or into a mini book. I carried some on our last trip for my son. He had to keep a journal of the trip for school so he used a Smash Book and I carried journaling cards for him to write when we were sitting down for meals and such. http://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/11538/view/3834521/-1/40/2.html http://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/11538/view/3917667/-1/20/2.html You could probably also use the 4x6 ones for character autographs. I use just white cardstock that I cut into 4x6, punch through the corner and put on a key chain. It makes a small and simple autograph book and then I just stick the autographs into a simple album with the photos.

Please post links for the passport print offs! I'm wanting to make 2 for our November trip! Any idea how much the passports in Epcot cost and what shop sells them?

They're $10 and they sell them in any store or Kiosk in world showcase. Also in DTD.

Woo hoo! The guy from the base rec. center just called to say our WDW tickets are in! I expected at least two weeks, but it was like 2 days! If DH can get off in time he'll swing by and get them, or I'll just pick them up on my way home from work tomorrow. Then I have to figure out how to link them to mb's and if we can do fp+. So happy!

I just called DME and they said they usually try to send them out at least 2 weeks prior to your trip!

I am 29 days away and have still not received my "package" and luggage tags.

We are all getting VERY EXCITED and the youngest in our group is 23 :flower3:

Absolutely :thumbsup2

Truly amazing and get there early for some fun surprises with the audience :goodvibes

I AGREE.....La Nouba is a fantastic show. You really don't HAVE to get the most expensive seats. You can see from every seat. So if it is between getting cheaper seats or not going at all.....Get the cheaper seats.

Yesterday I noticed my Personalize MB option was back to Modify. The message said our order was processing! :cool1: Checked my email this morning and the "your MB have shipped" message cam in at 2am! :thumbsup2 Checked the UPS tracking number, they were already out for delivery!! I get to come home to my MBs TODAY! Whoo hoo! This really shouldn't be THIS exciting, but it is! :joker:

Does anyone know if the box comes signature required? That could put a damper on my evening since no one will be there to sign.

I was home when my MB came today and they didn't ask me to sign for them.

Just checked tracking, they have been delivered already! :cool1: They are sitting all alone on my front step, waiting for me to get home from work!!:rotfl2:

Ironically, I received the USPS letter inviting me to participate in the MDE, MB, and FP+ testing. One day TOO LATE to have personalized by MBs if I had waited! :headache:

Fantastic info - very helpful!! Thank you SO MUCH!!

Also, if you hover over the modify check in (no clicking) the number will appear in the lower left hand corner of your browser window.

Thanks to the insight of some very knowledgeable dis folks, I was able to get the BOG fastpass. I used the method above to get the numerical confirmation number, then used: https://beourguestlunch.disney.go.com and it worked! Now, I also learned that this doesn't count as one of your 3 daily fastpasses and it won't show up on your MDE account b/c it is separate. (I was worried when it didn't show up there...). What did not work was going to the be our guest website and clicking the fasspass option box - that just took me back to the select fastpass part of MDE with no option for the BOG lunch. Thanks to all on this thread for helping me out and I hope someone else is successful as well.

I agree about the villas. I have also wanted to stay in WL but it never happened. Maybe someday on an adults only trip.

Glad to help! :wave2:

Has anyone tried getting BOG FP+ from the MK map page? I noticed, while planning the order of my FP+ for MK, that if you click on the BOG balloon that appears on the map when dining is selected, the banner asks if you would like to check FP+ availability for BOG. Maybe another way in? :confused3

It does the same thing as it does on the BoG page in MDE- takes you to the regular FP+ selection screen. Oh well. It was worth a shot! :)

So excited!:yay: After over two months of searching for better dining times for some ADR's, and especially Ohana, all of a sudden I found 2 of them within 5 minutes today! I had to swap days but it's still good.

So now we have received Mickey Mail, gotten our MB, ordered extra luggage tags, registered with ME, gotten a FP+ for lunch at BOG, done some days of FP+. All I am waiting for is my Disney Rewards certificate in the mail so I can order my Photopass+.

Now if only I was ready for Halloween.:headache: The kids won't even give me an answer what they want to be.

Slap some Mickey Ears and a Tiara on them and be good to go for Halloween.
AFter all priorities!!!!
:lmao:
