We were there on the 21 and arrived at 4. They took some really cool pictures of my son in front of the castle in costume and put Tink in them. They said we would get another photopass later when the party started but the only pictures we ended up taking were of the villains and there were no photopass photographers there so we never got the other card. Is the number on the card a code that can be used for any of the photo pass pictures of is it one that you can only use after you enter the info to pull up the photopass pictures from the party? If it is just the number, is there anyone that is willing to share it with me?

So, from one villain fan to another...When you took pictures with the villains, was my Wicked Queen out and about? She is my number one priority this year. I've only got one picture with her and it was from 2002, so another one is long overdue.

I am trying to remember if I saw her in the meet and greet or not. I will have to look through my pictures to see if I can get you an answer. We seem to remember her being in the stage portion but not if she came down for pictures or not. I know she was also in the parade. The ones I do remember that took pictures were Jafar, Malificent, the dude from Hunchback (Frollo?), Cruella, Hook, and the Queen of Hearts. We went to the first show of the night and there are 4 all together. I am not sure if the same characters come down during each show or if the switch them around. Sorry I could not be of more help.

I would love to see anyones pictures from Halloween party on the 21st. We were there dressed in our star wars gear, it was totally fun. Would love to know if anyone here took our pic. It was actually taken a lot that night. What a wonderful night it was.

I keep reading sad reviews about the candy:scared1: WE WANT CANDY!:lmao: :rotfl2:
Just went to MNSSHP 9/30 and I have to say everything was great. Great fireworks & a totally awesome parade. The candy however. Myself and the wife ended up with half full bags, we hit every candy stop, some more then once. It seemed if you were an adult they didn't hand out as much candy. Example: Little ones in front of us are getting 2 handfulls at times, when they went to put candy in my bag, they dropped a few back in there bucket and only gave 1-3 pieces of candy. Sorry thats part of the whole deal and it just bummed me a little. My small gripe, wouldn't stop me from going again. We'll be back on Oct. 4 and I'm gonna beat them down and get my candy :) I'll keep entering a line until they are tired of seeing me or my bags full. Very cool, you won't be disappointed with the show and all. Assuming you don't get rained on. :(
I'm just a big kid.

I'm pretty sure that I saw her at the 9/28 party doing the Mingle. She was at the end of the stage closest to Liberty Square. I was on the opposite side waiting for my fave Malificent. Malificent was the only villain I considered standing in line for. But, all the others mentioned above were doing Meet and Greets after the show.

It better not rain on the 4th :) I'm another adult who loves candy so I'll be right with you asking for more if I only get a piece or two :goodvibes

I'll be going on 10/18. Does anyone know if they still have the fortune tellers in Adventureland?

I went on 9/21. I was very disappointed. I thought there would be more decorations than there were. The candy situation was not good. My daughter is 10 but looks 13. They would take a handful of candy, see her, then drop most of it and give her 2 or 3 pieces. A lot of CM's would say to the little kids "Go around and come throught again" We didn't do it except for one time elsewhere and the CM said to her "I saw you just come through to the other barrel, but I'll still give you some" I should have complained. But, on the other hand, we were dead tired. We just flew in that day. We had to get up before 5:00 and make it onto two flights.

It sounds like it's time to start sending emails to complain about the candy situation.

We are going to Disney on the 14th and we are attending the MNSSHP on 10/18. When I called to inquire about it I asked the CM what came with the ticket she explained the parade and headless horseman and then said there was trick or treating and "the treats aren't just a little piece of candy, they are substantial treats"!
If that's not the case then we all need to call or email our complaint that they aren't giving what was advertised and we won't go back! Maybe they'll fix it before I get there! :sad1:

Yup, Evil Queen was out between The Queen of Hearts and Hook, for at least 2 of the Villians meet n' greets on the 30th. Cruella was fantastic, and we traded fashion tips (I was in Organization XIII black leather. We reminded Cruella it was after labor day.)

As for the candy situation...we LUCKED out. Across from Splash, just around park closing, as we were getting off Thunder Mt. ....I think it was the brier patch candy stop...they were emptying out their load for the night and filled our bags to the brim, all in one go, with the good stuff. mmmmmm, Twix!

Count us in too!!!!! for 10/4 .... Me (30) DH (38) DD (3) and Dgpandpa (80!!!!)
I'll see you on the 4th too!!!!! I can't wait!! I can't believe I'll be in Disney in two days!! WOOHOO! This is my first MNSSHP! I am going mostly for the fireworks, parade, and special decorations. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for beautiful weather! If anyone is down Disney this week, how is it looking down there? Can't wait and see you in a few days :)

For us poor unfortunate souls (like the tie-in?) that got rained on during the 9/14 MNSSHP...I talked to someone (yes, spoke to) from Guest Relations yesterday and he advised that you only need your tickets from MNSSHP for a 1-day (non-park hopping) re-entry into MK and it's good for a year from 9/14. He said the tickets from that day were re-coded to allow entry on another day. So good news for those of us that got rained on (A LOT) and are able to get back again within the year.

The weather reports for Sept 28 and 30 were rain and thunderstorms (all week in fact). Both nights were beyond perfect for the Halloween Parties (we were there the 28th).

In fact, in our 10 days, we only had a few brief showers. Florida Weather Forcasters are lazy. :)

From the pictures I have seen of MNSSHP it looks like very few people dress up. I am starting to think I may feel like a dork in my costume. Who is dressing up??

We just got home yesterday. We went to the parties on the 28th and 30th. I thought the 28th was pretty darn crowded, but the 30th was terrific. Crowds were MUCH lower and weather was a bit cooler on the 30th, making it a more enjoyable evening overall. I also got DD to nap that day so she was able to stay awake with no crankiness all night. We left the MK around 12:20 after a great night. We both got full bags of candy on both nights, making my carryons very very heavy for the trip home, LOL.

I won't attend on a Friday again, but I will probably go next year on a Sunday or weekday. I felt it was well worth the ticket cost on Sunday, not Friday.

Awww, don't back out because of the people who are missin' out on all the fun! When else will you have the grand excuse to run around Disney World in costume? Yes, there were times I felt like a total dork when I went on the 30th with a pack of friends...but it was a GOOD feeling of dorkdom, and totally not because of any lack of other park guests dressed up.

We're going nov. 2 and we are dressing up- DH will be a pirate & I am going to be Belle in the blue dress. My DH doesn't normally dress up but we want to be festive!! :)

My whole family dressed up (me and the kids below). I think if you're more the introverted type, dressing up may not be for you, but if you enjoy putting yourself out there, then dressing up can be great fun. I got SO MANY compliments on my costume which made me feel great about the decision to actually GET a costume and lug it to FLA!
