I'm thinking of going for the 1st time this year.

How well does Disney empty the park before starting the party?

I think I remember a thread last year about problems with the Christmas Party starting at 7:00 and the park was still full of day guest?

It was a hassel, since they showed wishes at a little after 6pm all these other people hung around. I wont bother with MVMCP again and we are only doing MNSSHP b/c we never have. But it really bothered me to be with people all night watching the parade and stuff WHO DIDNT PAY FOR IT! It was much better when the park was "closed" prior to the party.

We were very concerned last year when we heard they were not closing the park prior to the start of MNSSHP. We went to an early October party and I've got to say, our worries were for nothing. At 7, CMs were politely escorting people not wearing wrist bands to the front of the park and in no time at all, if there were any non-ticketed people left, we sure didn't see them! The CMs did a GREAT job! I'm counting on it running as smoothly again this year.

Just got our tickets today for MNSSHP for 10/18. First Halloween Party for DD (4), we hit MVMCP last year. We had a great year !!!

About the Photo pass photos.

I understand you get 50% off if you buy the photos on mnsshp night.
BUT if i want to buy a photo pass cd at the end of my trip. Will the Halloween photos be included on the cd?

I understand the 50% off is only for the pictures you buy and not the cd.

When i leave a few days later and i want to purchase the cd with all my photo pass pictures on it i want to make sure they Halloween party ones will be included too!!!!

I don't see why they wouldn't be, if you use the same photo pass, oh that reminds me last year at WDW we had several different photo passes, one from the water parks then one from MGK and they combined all the pics, so why wouldn't they combine the Halloween pics too. Your correct it's the pix you buy the night of MNSSHP but I believe again it's any pix you have on the photo pass up that point. But if your buying the CD you don't really need to purchase printed pics.
Also as a side note, the photo pass from the water parks is smaller and has a teather that goes on your wrist, I suggest you go get one of those and use it at all the parks. We did this halfway thru our trip last year, we never had to dig for the photo pass it was always on my wrist, and with purchasing the pix CD we had the CM's taking our pix everwhere.

At MVMCP last year they gave us a different Photopass for the party - and we could order a 50% off photo after the trip with that. I think we added it to the CD we bought too, but somehow, the website knew what to charge.

i bought the cd last year and i had the mnsshp pictures put on that cd.
the discount was included for that night for the ones i bought then.

you will get the photopass card for mnsshp.
you need to also have the photographer scan your everyday photopass card also. if you do that, those pics at mnsshp will be included on your cd.

Since I plan to go the the Halloween Party just to see the parade and costumes it briefly entered my mind (I am human you know) that I could not buy tickets since I do not want to do any rides HOWEVER my mother gave me these darned morals!!

I plan to wait until we get to DW and if tickets are available for the 21st I will take it as a sign we are supposed to attend.

Hope you are all dressed up so I will get my money's worth. Just wave up at the RR station!!

A little off topic, but does anyone know if "free" kids (under 3) get wristbands or just the paying adults? If you're already inside the park, do you just trade in your tickets for wristbands? Thanks!
