We already posted when we are attending, but I have another question. Do the characters sign autographs at the Halloween party? Thanks in advance! :wizard:

Hi, I don't mean to hijack the thread but I've been debating whether we will go to the MNSSHP in September. I'm a bit confused about the way the party is executed. MK is open that night to all guests, correct? Maybe it's because I've never been there before but how do they separate people with wristbands from the people without them? I mean if you don't have a wristband does that mean you can't watch the parades or get a picture with one of the villains? :confused3
Someone please explain it to me. The only night we would be able to go is a night that we will already be at MK. I'm asking so that if we don't buy tickets I'll know what to expect.
Thanks. :goodvibes

The park closes to non-MNSSHP ticket holders at 7pm. All guests not holding tickets for the party (wristbands) will be asked to leave at that time. At 7, guests without wristbands will not be allowed to purchase merchandise, eat at CS restaurants, ride any rides, see any shows, or enter any of the "lands". There are many, many CMs stationed throughout the MK who will be looking for wristbands and escorting any guests NOT wearing them out of the park.

So, in essence- no MNSSHP ticket, no party. At all. You must buy tickets to be able to remain in the park after 7pm.

MK will close to ALL guests at 7pm EXCEPT those with MNSSHP tickets/wristbands. So for you MK will close at 7pm that day.

If you don't have a wristband you will be asked to leave. Before the parade starts CMs walk the parade route asking to see wristbands as well as throughout the park. Also, you will not be allowed on any rides or take any candy. If you don't have a wristband you will eventually be asked to leave if not almost immediately. I was asked to show my wrist band at MVMCP at least 6 times while waiting for the first parade to start.

I would suggest buying the tickets or plan on leaving the park at 7pm.

::yes:: :thumbsup2

Very well said! They even have CMs along Main Street checking guest's wrists who are sitting waiting for the parade to start.

We just bought our tickets yesterday for MNSSHP!!:cool1: My mom, myself and my 5 yr old dd will be there on Sept 30!!!

Oh ok, thanks for the explanation MissMet and MofK. That was the missing link, I didn't realize the park would close to non partygoers. Hmm...now we'll really have to discuss getting tickets.

Thanks again for the explanation1 :thumbsup2

We're officially official! :hyper: Just bought our tickets for the September 14th party! We're soooooo excited! Now... to costume or not to costume, that is the question. ;)

No problem- sometimes if you don't know all about the parties, it can be confusing.

I highly recommend doing the MNSSHP- the special parade and fireworks alone are worth the ticket price. Add to that the dance parties, Trick-or-Treating, lots of character interaction (some pretty rare ones, too), and lack of lines at the attractions makes the parties really fun and not-to-be-missed.

We did MNSSHP in 2005, and loved it so much we jumped at the chance to do another party this fall.

Did anyone else check out the new October calendar? I saw the extended hours. :thumbsup2

On non-party nights I saw they have Wishes scheduled, and HalloWishes on party nights. How true do you think it is that they will show Wishes on those non-party nights? I would like to see Wishes the other nights so I am kind of keeping my fingers crossed about it.

Not sure we'll know in advance. They had Wishes scheduled on non party nights last year too, but started showing Hallowishes every night around mid October.

Can anyone tell me what "advanced pricing" means? Can we decide to go to MNSSHP the day of (or a few days before) & buy the tickets at our hotel? Or do they need to be ordered before our trip to DW?

the last 2 years i went (05 & 06) that happened also.
they had hallowishes instead of wishes.
this happened the last week of sept and first week of oct.

i hope i can see wishes this year

We saw regular Wishes on non-MNSSHP nights the first week of October in '05...:confused3 I didn't think they showed HalloWishes every night until last year, although I definitely could be wrong.

we will be there 10/31/07-11/06/07 hoping to see wishes too. We have tickets for MNSSHP on 10/31/07-First for us:banana: Has anyone been on halloween, if so can you give me some idea as to how crowded it gets. Also I am assuming they have buses running back to the resorts at closing?? Can't wait havn't attended any of the special events except for the old e-nights, which were great.

Thanks,

Wall

Does anyone know where Will call is located to pick up MNSSHP tix? Is it right outside the MK gates or at the TTC?

Thanks

Will call is any Guest Services I believe. So you can pick them up at the TTC, MK Guest Services and even at your resort.

I just booked my trip and bought my ticket for the 10/11 party! :cool1: I'll be arriving that day and leaving on 10/14 (going mainly for the party, I was just there in May), and staying at the WL. This will be my first MNSSHP. I'm going to be Minnie Mouse. ::MinnieMo
