Official MNSSHP [Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party] 2007...

My wife and I just bought our tickets for 9/14/07 MNSSHP today and now the race is on to find costumes My 4 year old son is going as Woody and we would love to do a group type thing. My wife was thinking maybe Jesse, but we can't find any Adult Toy Story costumes other than an adult Buzz. PLEASE help....any ideas, websites or places we can find Toy Story costumes for adults??? Or even some unique Disney costumes for adults??

So how does the pre-pay for the photo-CD work. I looked at the link, you purchase it now and when you put in the codes from your photo-pass in a future trip, the CD is then burnt and mailed to you?? Do I have that correct. please advise, thanks Haeg

We are going crazy over costumes too! My 2 DDs have adorable Pirate girl outfits. They are light-weight and cool. My DS is 12 and he does have a Jack Sparrow costume but I'm afraid it's going to be to hot for this. So what light-weight, cool costume does a 12 yr old wear?? I'm so concerned about the heat. I want the kids to have fun but I don't want anyone to pass out! DH and I have pirate costumes too but if it's too hot we'll skip them.

Good Luck!! Did you try a local party supply place? Sometimes they rent costumes.

Try checking on the disney shopping web site starting aug 18 they will be releasing their costumes but they do have some one there now

Yup, we are hoping for the Elizabeth Swann costume (from PotC3- the Asian Princess-y looking one). We saw it at ther Disney Store here, but we are hoping to find it with a bit of a discount once it hits the website. It is really cute, but at $50 for the costume, $10 for the crown, and I'm sure more $$ for other accessories, we decided to wait and see if it would get marked down before we bought it.

We live in Canada, if that makes a difference...I am unsure if she got a confirmation number too.

It depends on what you selected when you ordered them. I asked them to be sent and they were sent very promptly. Its our 1st year too! YAY

It will depend on how your mother ordered them to be processed. You could choose for free and they would be sent via email to be printed. I chose $3 for regular US Mail and then I think it was around $10 for FedEx or something more expedited. I still got mine very quickly with regular mail.

We live in Ont and I ordered our MNSSHP tickets last Sun, and we rec'd them on Wed!! Talk about service! They are very cool and a hard ticket at that!
I would call and talk to them about your ticket's just to make sure where they are!

I'm in Ontario also. I ordered in June on a Thursday and I had them on the Monday. I had no idea they would come so quick. The tickets are very cool, between all of us and two parties I have atleast one of each design.

I was just looking at the pins that are being released on some of the party nights this year.....yes, I said some, not all of the party nights. For some strange reason, it appears that Disney has decided to only release 9 MNSSHP regular release event night pins this year. In years past, they released a pin for each night. They are making 2000 of each of these event night pins.

The pins are being released on 09/14/07: Pirate Mickey (Logo) & Princess Minnie...so 2 pins...not too shabby for the first night!
There is a pin to be released the week of 09/16/07: Disney Villians
There is a pin to be released the week of 09/23/07: Pluto in Graveyard
There is a pin to be released the week of 09/30/07: Chip & Dale
There is a pin to be released the week of 10/07/07: Goofy Candy Co. Float
There is a pin to be released the week of 10/14/07: Mickey with Headless Horseman
There is a pin to be released the week of 10/21/07: Mummy Stitch
The final pin is set for release during the week of 10/28/07: Tink Candy

This format of release worries me a bit for those going on 10/31/07 and 11/02/07. It just seems like it's possible that there could be no pins left at all for those nights, and if there are any pins left, the hard core traders are possibly only going to be left with the less desirable pins. In the past, it seemed like Disney rewarded those going near the end of the run of the parties with more popular characters, which it sort of looks like they are set to offer this time, but with Tink being offered during the week of 10/28, if they are short and need to put pins out on 10/28, that means that by 11/02, those party goers might have no pins left at all because 3 other parties would have had their shot at them first.

Maybe I am overthinking things, but I just thought that I should put this out there in case the pin traders going had not yet noticed the odd release format this year. Maggie
