Anyone have a tried and true touring plan for the party? If it's crowded, I thought it might be heplful to have a plan of attack to get the most out of it. Sorry if this has already been asked, but I could not look through all 32 pages!

Anyway, if you have a good plan I would love to hear it. Thanks! We plan on atending the 1st party on the 14th. It will be our 1st time at the MNSSHP. Can't wait!
Well, first I set priorities for what I want to accomplish. I like doing most of the special events like the parade and fireworks and of course my kids love trick or treating. We also try to do at least one Photopass photo. My favorite one last year was outside the HM.
I would either get the hours for the special events from last year (they can change slightly from year to year though) or if I was going to a later party, wait for someone to post the hours of the special events for this year.
Then I'd make a plan according to the schedule and my priorities. Of course, it could change on a whim based on what my kids wanted to do.
Here's basically what we did last year:
We headed to Haunted Mansion to ride it and get that doombuggie picture taken.
Treat or treated our way to Fantasyland
Rode IASW and Dumbo
Got our picture with Tigger and Piglet right outside Pooh's playground/across from Pooh's ride. (this took quite a bit of time)
Trick or treated our way to Toontown.
Photopass picture with Minnie in her gazebo. (this took ALOT of time)
Trick or treated to Tomorrowland via the special path; got photo with the Walrus.
Trick or Treated in Tomorrowland.
Rode Buzz
Rode the People mover
Made our way to Main Street (in front of the Castle) for the 9:30p fireworks.
Meanwhile DH got a spot on Main Street for the second parade (10:30p).
This time we didn't do the
Villain's Mix and Mingle (
7:45, 9:00,
10:15 and 11:15 p.m) however, while we were waiting for the parade to start (sitting on the Main Street curb), my younger DD ran to the Castle to watch the 10:15p show.
We didn't do:
Merlin's School of Wizardry
The Fairytale Garden in Fantasyland becomes a realm of enchantment as Merlin amazes guests with fantastic feats of wizardry.
7:00, 8:00, 9:00, 10:00, and 11:00 p.m.
Halloween Dance Parties
Stitch's Cosmic Dance Party - Tomorrowland
Get Up & Boo-gie - Fantasyland
Once the second parade was over, around 11:00p, we waited for some of the crowd to die down and then we left.
Time goes by so fast, it is very hard to fit everything in but we got what we really wanted to do done.
Have fun planning!
