Official MNSSHP [Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party] 2007...

Question about LTT on the night of the parties - are the Characters in Halloween costumes that night? That's the impression I'm getting but just wanted to clarify? We've never eaten there and may give it a try.

They wear masks really, not full costumes, but yes that is the only restaurant that the characters dress up for Halloween.

I am going on Sept 14th for my birthday extravaganza weekend! I just booked my ADR at the LTT for 5:05PM for that night. When I did, the CM said that she thinks something special is happening that night! I told her "I hope so, it's my birthday and there should be huge events to celebrate it." She tried to see the dates of the party even though she said she knew she couldn't get me a ticket, but alas she couldn't see the dates.

Now I just need to figure out an outfit! Based on my love for my glow-in-the-dark tiara, I think I will end up being a princess.

We booked ours for 4:30. We'll probably just recycle our P&P party costumes. Three princess, two pirates, a wench, peter pan and tinkerbell.

They do do them on Fridays but they'll probably never do them on Saturdays because Saturdays are crowded and traditiionally opened late with Spectro and Wishes showing. Non-party guests would freak if they did parties on Saturdays.

Parties used to be (before last year) Sunday nights. They may do them again at some point.

We plan to be there! I hope they do something at the Studio. My husband and I plan to get a sitter and do Universal also.

My family is going as characters in the Wizard of Oz!

I booked all of our ADRs yesterday for our trip. I booked LTT for 4:15 and we will hang out there until the party starts!! We are so excited. We will be all dressed up for dinner. I'm excited the characters dress up too! Yeepee!!!

I just emailed Disney to see if they are having another event at Disney-MGM, not sure if i will hear anything back, but it worth a try.... right???

I'm sure you will hear something back. I haven't ever emailed them and not gotten a response. Now if it will be the response we hope for.....let's hope so!!

I made all my ADR's figuring on the 10/1 party. Should I change it all and go to the 9/28 party, or should I wait until the party dates are posted to change them? I also saw on Disney's website about the EMH for both 9/30 and 10/1. Do you think it will change? Ekkkk such decisions... Please HELP!!

I would post the info about LTT having the characters, if we get any other info about the party at MGM, stuff like that. I am not sre about posting a list of who's going too, otherwise the first post will be 2 pages long! LOL

On another note, I wish they would release the dates so we can make definite plans If they don't have one on Oct 1st, then our friends may not get to go with us unless they can extend their trip for a day We'll see though, the waiting it the worst!

One other question for the people who have been in late Sept/early Oct before ... how are the love bugs? I know they can vary from year to year and they won't hurt you, they are just annoying. Do they go away at night, or are they just there the whole time?

I was one of those planning to attend MNSSHP on 10/1. I know that the October park hours that were just released show that MK isn't closing until 9 pm that day & it also has evening EMH -- so it looks like no party. But then I realized that the day before (Sun. 9/30), MK is scheduled to be open 'til 8 pm with evening EMH. Does that seem right -- to have evening EMH at MK on two consecutive dates? Just trying to decide if there is still hope for a 10/1 MNSSHP or if I need to call and rearrange my ADRs.

I noticed this too when my panic started about hours posted on 10/1. I also really do not think they would have to late EMH back to back. However, I started re-thinking my game plan and made an additional ADR. I really hope there is a party on 10/1.

We are eating at Liberty Tree Tavern On October 1st at 4:30 and then going to the party after. FUN FUN we had a blast last year well worth the money.

We are planning on the 16th of October for our first MNSSHP. This thread has got me excited.
Is there some sort of reasoning why we solely base it on last years dates????
Have they been the same for years???
Can't wait.

The park hours have been listed for these dates and it seems pretty obvious that when MK closes at 7pm--that would be a MNSSHp night!
