Finally officially joining the thread. I've already been on the Facebook group. This will be our first trip in March and we're excited but nervous. Have no idea what to expect with crowds or weather. We'll be there March 2-9 at CBR in a pirate room! Looking forward to reading the thread!

Very excited here. A couple of weeks ago booked Mar 20-27 at BLT and rediscovered the disboards. Working through ADR now. Have four kids, first trip 4 years ago. So happy to be going back. Can't wait to see the BLT and WDW through the eyes of different age kids (including the grandparents we are bringing along). Just researching the disboards, the books, the phone apps, all that stuff has me worked up. Can't believe its 73 days, 15 hours and 36 minutes until our flight - not that I'm counting.

Just booked!! We are going March 26-April 2. High crowds, but we are bound by school spring break. Can't wait to go!!! Got a few ADRs made but until I can get the boys together to see how they want to handle meals, my hands are a little tied. Will be a bittersweet trip though...my DD loves Disney, but she is 18 now and doesn't want to miss work, so this will be the first Disney trip without her.

We'll be there the same dates.

I'm sort of down about it because I really wanted to stay @ CBR but with us flying down now I didn't want to risk the larger resort w/o a vehicle...That and we really need new furniture and the savings will go towards a nice new set for us

Would love to meet up with you guys as well! I can't believe in almost 2 months now we'll be back at Disney I've got to get started on a countdown for the kids to get them more excited about things.

its fun for the kids! megan loves the pool, its not fancy, but with the new refurbishment everything will be nice, new and clean! the food court is crazy so be prepared for that.

we've stayed at POP in 05 and 08 and never had any issues, but we always request a top floor so we don't hear people walking overhead, yes you hear people flushing toilets and walking outside, but I bring earplugs and sleep pretty well.

getting new furniture will be worth the money your saving on the resort costs, Megan is beyond excited and already counting the days, she's excited to meet your kids, we will have to plan our meet when it gets closer and exchange cell #

Don't be down about this - I love the Pop. The grounds, like all the values, will not be as wonderfully lush as the moderates and the food court is much busier, but the buses there are great. We never waited more than 10 minutes for a bus going to or from the parks (never tried the ones to and from DTD). The CMs and mousekeeping are great, the themeing is just fun, and everything is so close.
We're not staying there this time and I'm sad about that. We'll be at POR instead, only because my oldest DGS will be with us and we need the trundle bed for my 2-yr-old DGD.

Thanks for the tips! I keep reading that getting to the food court early is key or during off times (which is pretty much anywhere in Disney, right ? LOL). I requested ground level and am hoping to get it because of the fact that I'll more than likely be lugging a double stroller around Noise doesn't really bother me, it's actually the quiet that seems odd these days

Thanks, it does make me feel better. I was really doubting it yesterday too...I just hope I'm not making the wrong decision. We'll be at POR most likely once PJ turns 3 for our future visits. Between now and then I'd like to get a chance to stay at some of the ones we won't be able to once that happens.

I see there is a cheerleading competition mar 18-20. We arrive on the 20th, would the cheerleaders have checked out of their hotel by that time or perhaps they'll be around for one more day? Does anyone know? I'm in All Star Sports and know that's the hotel they prefer.
