** Official ** March 2011!!!

Hello there! Can you add me? I guess I never made it official and haven't been here in forever. March 27 to April 2 at Boardwalk Villas :)

And I just read about the LGMH....so cool! I'll have to get some next time we're at the Depot.

Woo Hoo!!!

I feel like WDW is our "Guilty Pleasure." We vacationed for 9 nights in August, then went back for another 9 in November (a 3 night cruise included in there), and now we're headed back in March. Cloudy, cold, snowy Chicago days and dreams of a warm(er) spring break led to intense flight/hotel searches, and we're booked! I'm so excited!!! It's only for 6 nights this time (from 3/24-3/30), but 6 nights at WDW is better than 0 nights!! :thumbsup2

Mndisneygirl, we'll be on the Dream the same time your cruising. We're looking forward to our first Disney cruise on the Dream!

We're staying @ BCV 3/7-3/10 before cruising.

Cool!! Hope we can meet sometime! Have you been over to the cruise meet thread? We're doing a FE exchange and if you want in, you have to join by 2/1.

I forget if I posted with our "add-on"! We decided to take a 3 day cruise on the Dream on March 10, so when we get off the ship on March 13, we booked a room for one night at Saratoga Springs. We couldn't get our room at AKV for that night, so we will be staying one night SSR and 4 nights at AKV.

We are trying to find a way to surprise the kids. We're looking at having a Disney themed day, maybe on President's day and seing if they can figure it out. Or maybe give them an early joint b-day present. (Their b-days are two weeks apart in March.

I think I got yours right on the front page... Could you double check for me? :lovestruc

March 8 to 15 at OKW for us. Finally booked our flights a few days ago so now I feel like it's official. Still looking for a good deal on a rental car. I'll be 32weeks pregnant this trip....means lots of taking it easy for us. Anybody going to the Atlanta Braves spring training games or been before have any advice? I think it would be a fun thing to do and take DS5 to his first baseball game.

hi! first time poster on this thread--march 2nd (really 3rd--late flight on the 2nd) through the 6th, CSR. solo trip (doing research--long story). very excited!!!!!

Same deal here, we'll be staying at either the Hyatt Regency or the Marriot the night of the 2nd, get the car at Dollar 7am the 3rd then on to Boardwalk with a Publix stop thrown in. It's a great time to visit the World.

Feeling happy today!! Did some playing around with our taxes this morning on Turbo Tax, just using our last pay stubs and other info - no actual W-2's yet or anything and the IRS forms arent' even all ready yet. But....the refund is much more than I expected!!! I guess DH's huge pay cut is "helping" in that regard, LOL. Anyways, on our past trips, our refund covered all our Disney expenses 100% - the actual package cost, plus gasoline for the drive down and back, hotel stay on the way down, tips, souveniers, etc. But those were May trips. Even with the 25% Poly discount we have right now for March...this year's package is about $1000 more. So I was thinking the refund should cover the package, but probably not much else and we'd have to pay OOP (so to speak) for the other expenses. But nope!! This larger refund should cover everything, with maybe even some left over!! Yay!!!

Other news....I switched our itinerary around a bit and checked the online dining ressies. I was able to switch Ohana and Crystal Palace days with just a few minutes change in the ADR times. I was surprised, as they're both pretty popular places.

Here's our new plan:

Saturday, 3/26 -- Arrival @ approx. noon. No parks this day. Pool time, DD will get her hair braided at the GF. Plan to see the torch lighting and then dinner at Chef Mickey's. Watch EWP and Wishes from the beach.

Sunday, 3/27 -- Magic Kingdom until around 2, pool time, Epcot evening. Dinner at Biergarten. Illuminations

Monday, 3/28 -- Epcot until around 2, pool time, DTD evening. Dinner at Wolfgang Puck Cafe.

Tuesday, 3/29 - Animal Kingdom morning, pool time, DHS evening. F! Pkg. at Mama Melrose

Wednesday, 3/30 -- Magic Kingdom morning, pool time; Ohana dinner, Epcot evening

Thursday, 3/31 -- Blizzard Beach; Crystal Palace dinner, Night parade and Wishes in MK

Friday, 4/1 -- ?? morning, we may split up. Lunch for me, DD and my sis and her boyfriend at CRT. Pool time. Epcot evening, dinner at LeCellier.

Saturday, 4/2 - depart early

Wed and Thursday are the days I switched, for a few reasons. 1) On our original plan, our only MK rope drops were are first and last park days. I know what's best to do at RD, and I didn't think the kids would want to wait until the last day to do all of it. Or go there Thursday morning and then again Friday. 2) Wed is showing to be the lowest crowd day of our trip - seemed kind of a waste to be at BB that day. 3) Old plan had us at Epcot at night both Thurs and Fri, again this breaks it up a little.

The only thing I'm not really sure of with this plan....TSM!!! We are not big DHS fans. Our 2007 trip, we spent just a bit there - mostly to see Lightning McQueen and Mater. Only other things we did were the HOney playground and see the Little Mermaid. In 2009, we skipped DHS entirely. Other than Fantasmic (which we've never done before and will do this time), I think TSM is the only must-do there for us this trip. I'm HOPING that we can fit that in between our 5 pm dinner at Mama Melrose and Fantasmic at 8:30, even if that means standing in line for an hour or so. If we can't do that, I'm thinking maybe we'll hit DHS at opening on Thursday before going to Blizzard Beach at 10. (We'll have our car)

Joining in a little late to the party! :) I didn't book our trip until November and I've been busy planning our December trip, which we just got back from. We're staying at POFQ, 1-9 March, free dining upgraded to Deluxe. DW doesn't know we're going back yet. Her birthday is 21 Feb and I think I'll surprise her with the trip then!

I'm still finalizing our ADR plan. I've got a lot booked, but I'm still moving a few things around. I will post a list when I think I've got a more finalized list.

Super-excited about going back to Disney!! :yay:

If you look on touring plans dot com they have the crowd calendar that will tell how crowded your vacation will be. You normally have to subscribe but they give you 30 days or so free. Right now they have from Feb 2 - March 4 up. My first day is March 4 and it says crowds will be 3 out of 10 (with 10 being the highest)!! YIPPEE!

Every day, they will show more dates into March so keep checking back!

So happy to be adding my name! We'll be going for ESPN the Weekend, staying at the All Star Sports from March 2 - March 7.

Woo Hoo!

Woo Hoo!

Welcome! :yay: We'll be there at the same time, but probably avoiding ESPN the Weekend as much as we can.

Just booked!! :cool1: We are going March 26-April 2. High crowds, but we are bound by school spring break. Can't wait to go!!! Got a few ADRs made but until I can get the boys together to see how they want to handle meals, my hands are a little tied. Will be a bittersweet trip though...my DD loves Disney, but she is 18 now and doesn't want to miss work, so this will be the first Disney trip without her.
