Sounds like a PERFECT weekend!!!

I have had thoughts on trying Narcoossees or Il Mulino this year!!! Like to try at least 2 - 3 new restaurants this year, just having a hard time deciding which ones :)

Narcoossees is one of our favorites!!! You should try it.

Il Mulino was great too. Authentic Italian food.

I wish I knew how to multi-quote on the iPad. :(

Narcoossee's is wonderful. I can't wait to eat there again this trip. So yummy! I highly recommend it.

All I use is my iPad. To multi quote, use the button after the quote button, the one with the " marks and + sign. :thumbsup2

My must do is Fantasmic!, what do i need to do to make sure we see it?

We haven't seen it in quite a few years. I'd say book one of the F dinner packages, to make you go.

We always say we're going then just never make it there.

Hey guys!!! So glad I found this thread!! Me30 DH32 DS 9 DD7 we will be in the world July 1-6 and we will be staying at POP!! My daughter has a dance competion (ms) down there. So that's the main reason we are going down there! But we are also going to make it a vacation as well!!

We booked the Fantasmic dinner/lunch package at Hollywood and Vine last time to ensure we were able to get in and avoided standing in line forever!

Do you guys have a fun way of doing a "countdown" in your house??

I just make a calendar type chart with numbers. When DS was younger they used to put a Disney sticker on each day. Now they just cross off the number each day.
I have seen some really cute ones on a thread. You could do a search for countdowns. There are tons of them. HTH :)

When HOme Depot still had the Disney paint, we picked up tons of the paint chip samples and we made a countdown calendar out of them. We put Velcro on the back and take the pieces off as we countdown. The kids love it. I usually don't start the official countdown though until 30 days out.....too much more than that is a little much for my little ones.

This may not be original, but my DD6 loves loves loves the countdown chain. we do it a little different each year. One year we painted a bunch of plain white paper with crazy colors and once they dried cut them into strips, another one we cut up different colors of construction paper, this year I got a template from the boards and we're going to use that.

Whatever way you choose, have fun and enjoy the countdown :cool1:

Ugh. Might be moving from April to July or August thanks to NE mega blizzard taking up too many school days. Reluctant for crowds/heat/prices. Have a 2 and 4 year old. Anyone with kids this young going at this time? Need encouragement. I think DH would rather cancel.

Do you need to make up days over April vacation??
By the ages of you kids- are you a teacher?
What a bummer!!

As for prices it was way cheaper for us to fly out in July than April. ???

Our kids are 4 and 6 now, but we have gone every year since my daughter was 8 months old and we have been each year in the summer. We get up early for rope drop, take mid day breaks, and then head back in the evenings. It is hot, but completely doable. I think I mind the heat more than the little ones.

I am a teacher, so it is very hard to go any other time of the year. It was also cheaper for us to fly down in July rather than for a spring or winter break.
