I thought that same thing considering Derek and Mark's friendship, years of training together etc and I was sad when Derek didn't come out to dance but I still enjoyed the dance!

I feel that way about all the football players that compete. I only take notice of them when they become one of the final 4. Or when Cheryl Burke was dancing with them. I liked Cheryl. Usually the guys are so big compared to the tiny women pro dancers they are paired with that they just don't look good dancing together.

I don't really get all the Erin hate...I don't mind her. She is a little awkward sometimes but she's likeable and relate-able and her and Tom work well together.

I thought Nyle was good, but as mentioned, he didn't have the tone or mood of the song. He seemed a bit frenzied, like he always had to be in movement or he'd lose his place or the beat of the song or something.

Mischa comes off as a brat. Artem deserves better

I have no connection to Kim-her show was before my time, but she's so fun to watch!
Nyle wasn't as good as last week, but I've also decided I'm not really a rumba fan...glad his fans will keep him around anyways
I was so excited when it was announced that Mischa would be on the show, but I'm disappointed in her packages so far...it makes me sad to watch her struggle and I don't think she'll be around much longer. I voted for her last week, not sure if I will this week or not

I don't know- in Nyle's case, being completely deaf probably has something to do with the lack of grace. I was kind of confused at CA's criticism that he didn't "have the feeling or tone of the music". He can't hear it! He has no frame of reference to get the "musicality". IMO, he is doing a pretty good job.

I wonder if Mark being injured is going to be this season's repeat of when Derek hurt his foot and couldn't dance for several weeks but still choreographed the dances and it turned into a three person team for a while.

I hope not. Didn't like the three person team.

Mark looked in pain to me. I actually liked his replacement better with Paige.

I wish they would "kill" the lift police! IMHO a foot coming off the floor is not a lift. I've been unimpressed tonight.

I don't know if Mischa is really a witch or if she just plays one on TV. She either needs to change her attitude of leave.

Oh, I meant Mischa, not Nyle. DWTS has had several model/actresses on and they don't move very well. I forgot Nyle is a model, too. Mischa is as stiff as a board and SHE has no musicality.

As for Nyle, I think Peta could have softened his movements a little. In that regard, he'd have more of the feeling of the music.
