I really don't know for sure what happens. I know there is a fee to make changes after so many days. Hopefully someone with more experience can answer this one for you.

My guess is it will be out the 27th...

It says book by July 27th...
check in by September 27th...

Maybe it will be released Friday June 27th...

Lets hope it's not any later then Friday. I'm going crazy as it is.
All this waiting is killing me.

This has happened to us in the past (and it looks like it's going to happen again this trip ). Yes- you can call and change your package. There is a $50 change fee for changes made inside 45 days. *BUT* we did get it waived when we upgraded from a value to a deluxe.

Now heres my thing. I checked disneyworld.com and AKL from Aug 5 - 17th (my dates) is completely booked. Does that mean theres no hope for me to add the GC code to my room instead of having the AAA discount? Im hoping my AAA TA can take off the AAA discount and put the GC discount.

My guess is that a day or two within your dates might be booked up. So you might have to fiddle around and make two reservations or something.

I have a feeling that this code will be VERY limited, just like the AP code that preceded it.

I'll cross my fingers for you!

Is the GP offer usually a discount percentage?
I was a lucky one and recieved a 40% off pin so I booked a moderate. So if there is a GP offering I am doing just as well with the pin I already have correct.
Is there talk of more discounts or offerings like the free dining folks are getting at the end of August?

No, it's usually an amount off of the rooms or just a specific discount price. You are not going to get anything better than the 40%. You are super lucky.

Free dining will not be extended to earlier dates.

With the 40% off you are paying $87/night vs the new code that would be $109/night.

(BTW I hate you, I only got 20% off )

Had to laugh Harleyquinn sorry about the pin I was shocked myself. I was all set for POP and when they told me the rate for CSR I could not pass it up. I was almost disipointed I had already booked OKW thru a DVC member for our first 3 nights.
BTW I am use to the hate from Cleveland people with me living in Cincinnati

Sometimes. Most of the time it's pretty seemless, but every once in a while they make you check in and out and move rooms.

I don't think so, you'd have to book with a one day ticket for each person in the room to get the package code. Or you would do room only, but then you can't have dining.

And I wouldn't count on your dates with AKL being available for this discount either. Things seem pretty tight for August.

I love Cincinnati!! We should have hooked up so you could book my room for me at 40% off. lol No need to apologize, it's the luck of the draw! I'm just glad I got the 20% cuz it's actually better than the GP for a value. I hope you have a great trip too! And kick Chad Johnson in the butt for me! (Though we'll take him off your hands if you want!) And by 'we' I mean the Browns...they listen to me for every player decision!

Well I just went on disneyworld.com and just tried every combination I can think of and there are NO Savannah view rooms left during my dates except at the very end like on the 15th I believe and its for bunk beds savannah view. Oh well, maybe my AAA TA can still manage to put the GC code on my reservation. I figured it out how much we would be saving if we can add it on - $650!!

There are usually different blocks of rooms for discounts, so hopefully it'll work out for you!! That's a lot of money!!

LOL I had no idea so many people were going to Epcot on the 13th! We will spend the morning of at AK and then leave AK by 3pm so we can get to Teppan Edo by 4:30pm. We have ADRs for 4:45pm. After dinner, we plan on sticking around Epcot for rest of the day and see IllumiNations .

I'm seeing some of those Expedia special rates on Expedia.com now. All values are $69, some moderates are $109 and WL is $149.

Dates I'm looking at are 18/8 - 25/8. If I add one day to those, most prices revert back to 'normal', ie $225 at WL.

depends on the dates - i am getting values for $69 and mods for $109.
