My streak with guessing wrong on runDisney stuff continues!

Corral B for the challenge for me. I'm assuming A or B for the 10K.

Also, what is with this message at the end of the corral document? Not that I think they would actually change corral placements at this point, but it's weird.

Corral placement is not guaranteed and the following factors are taken into account:
• Capacities & Operational Impacts
• Estimated finish time provided by participant in active.com
• If estimated finish time provided is less than 2:46, a valid proof of time must have been provided for placement; otherwise we have placed you at our discretion.

I randomly checked when I got to work. I'm pretty happy with my placement. 1st and I'm doing the challenge

How does it work figuring out the 10k or is wait till you pick up the bib

No one knows for sure until bib pick-up, but one can always guess!

Well, the last two bullets are sort of the normal stuff, right? Maybe capacity and operational impacts would mean if something happened to the race course or starting line that might alter how they could manage the corrals? It mostly sounds like some legalese that they added to cover themselves if something strange happens with corral placement.

Maybe they put that in there if they are doing mini-waves within the corral. So that people can't complain if they are in the second wave of their corral instead of the first? Or if they arrive too late to get into the first wave of their corral?

Corral A: 425 Half + 343 PDC = 768
Corral B: 1082 Half + 1117 PDC = 2199
Corral C: 695 Half + 703 PDC = 1398
Corral D: 1141 Half + 957 PDC = 2098
Corral E: 2633 Half + 1365 PDC = 3998
Corral F: 3269 Half + 1320 = 4589

5826 PDC bibs, 9266 Half bibs = 15092 total half bibs

Weird. I don't see a corral on my waiver. I did this for Princess and it was at the bottom in the square of info with my bib number, name, etc. I'm bib 21832 - anybody know where that falls?

I actually WAS NOT trying to be wrong on purpose, I really thought if we didn't get stuff yesterday they were bagging it until next week.

I don't think my wrong guess streak would continue if I was trying to be wrong on purpose, I think the runDiseny gods would see right through that malarkey.

Couple of things...

1. They won't release 5K and 10K corralling info ahead of time...actually the 5K didn't have assigned corrals last year, so we'll see what they do with that this year, and
2. I would HIGHLY recommend bookmarking the Digital Event Guide on your smartphone. If runDisney posts any event updates during the race weekend, they will do it on Twitter, Facebook and in the Digital Event Guide. And they won't give you a paper copy of the event guide at the expo.

Oh and I HIGHLY recommend trying on *all* of your race shirts before leaving the expo, in case you want to do a swap. I feel the fit is not always consistent.
