Official 2017 Tinker Bell Half Marathon Weekend!

Usually our go to dinner on Saturday night before the half marathon is Naples, for some reason it looks like they are not doing any reservations between 5pm and 7:30pm on both Friday and Saturday night

For the past two years I have never had any issues grabbing a 6pm reservation on the day it opens up, but today not possible.

Maybe the realized how busy they were with reservations and buffet offer during the weekend and cut off reservations at peak dinner time?

I was able to snag a 6pm for Naples this morning for Saturday around 6 am pst time. It was that time or 430 or 7 and later.

I got my must do for sat so I'm more flexible for half day. I think I'm going to go with 5:30am central when I wake up and hope for the best.
Now if I wake up to go the bathroom early...I'll be checking :)

What is everyone's "perfect" post-half time to eat a sitdown meal?

Or since we all may start at differing times....how many hours do you prefer to give yourself before a reservation?

Just being curious :)

As soon as "dinner" starts at the Blue Bayou.....have to have the surf and turf. Dinner starts at 4:00 p.m. I will have something after the race, but nothing special so I'm hungry for an early dinner.

Hi Fun People! I'm roxymama's sister and totally excited to cheer her on in almost 60 days! I have never been to Disneyland and I haven't been able to cheer her on during a race since I live halfway across the country...so this trip is a perfect combination. I had knee surgery and don't run but I've been walking at least a mile or two a day to get ready for Disney. Maybe next year I can do a 5k with my sis.

:wave2:Hi and welcome!!
You'll love DL out here. You should definitely plan to do a race next year. The 5k is fun and very walker friendly.

I got my Blue Bayou reservation for Sunday. I know the reviews are mixed but I have always wanted to go there. I also got a Naples reservation for Saturday afternoon, but I'm not sure I'll keep that one. It's a bit earlier than I would like.

We decided on a Plaza Inn breakfast with Minnie and Friends after the half so that's booked.

Can't believe we are now so close to Tink weekend. What's the next thing to look forward to? Costumes, Really long training runs and waivers?

That would never fly at WDW! So did you get any good ones still?

And @courtneybeth did you get the brunch you wanted?

And Hi Bean!
Yeah, I'm still getting everything that I wanted, except I'm having that weird thing happen that others mentioned where I'll try to get a dinner ADR and the only times available are 4:50 and 7PM...??? :scratchin

My conspiracy brain is like "what super secret show is going to start in May and have a special dining package" but that's just me wearing a tinfoil hat.

got blue bayou for MESP dinner on Mother's Day -- not our usual go to dinner on Mother's Day, we usually go to Wine Country Trattoria given the limited release of the parade I thought I would break tradition.

No - it looks like the entire day is showing no availability for Storytellers. I'm going to look at it again when I get to work. Worse case we can go to PCH grill. :)
