Official 2013 Disney Princess Half Marathon Thread - Take 2

I'm awake and nervous about our travel to get there so I put my nervous energy into writing this blog post about the Charity Miles app.

Since we're all running 13.1 miles on Sunday, wouldn't it be cool if we all turned on this app? There are a lot of charities to choose from.You'll earn 20 cents per mile and it will tell you the number of vaccines or bed nets or school supplies bought for whatever charity you pick. I'm running with Shot@Life turned on, but there are charities for education, environment, and all sorts of things!

In line at the expo, got here at 7:15 about 20 people in line for shoes, no vouchers will be given, guy from run disney said they have 1500 pairs, not sure if it's just today or the whole weekend. I'll report back when they open

I think the line is for both honestly.

For all those still arriving a note or are still at the expo. There is a wall next to the NB booth with a list of every single half runner. Make sure to stop and get a photo!

Good luck to all of the Princess half marathoners! I am planning on doing the PHM next year as my first half marathon. I have been reading your posts so I have an idea of what to expect next year.

Good luck to everyone running the Princess!! DH and I will be there running!

We were supposed to fly out yesterday from DFW but were stranded when the pilot didn't show up!! After a lengthy stay at the aiport, we were finally booked on a flight leaving this afternoon and arriving late tonight. We'll miss packet pick up for the kids races so guess we'll just hit a park in the morning and then the Expo for our stuff. So frustrating, but trying to not let it ruin the trip!!

Yaaaay! I'm here! Just getting checked in to all of our rooms...they are actually ready, so glad! It's awfully warm out there! I had such great luck all morning, got off the plane fast, no line at ME desk, walked right onto bus, pulled away within 5 minutes AND we were the first stop!

The expo is nuts. The t shirt line is huge. I hope we are back at WWOS next year. Coronado Springs is too small to hold an expo for 26,000 people

ETA: dropping my phone off at guest relations once in the park. Will be unreachable for at least an hour but my phone battery is at 29 percent and I am not going to waste park time in my room
