Waiting at the airport for our flight...delayed because of storms in Dallas...at least I'll get there today !

ah! so you understand! I may need a mimosa before I head to the airport tomorrow AM just to help me let it go!

Got a surprise bout of what I think was vertigo on the final descent. Okay now but was surprised since I've never really gotten it at all let alone while flying.

Im still nursing a pulled muscle in my hip from last week. Does anyone have a miracle treatment that might help? I've tried KT tape, baths, icy hot, etc. but it's not back to normal yet. I'm so scared its going to go crazy on the course.

I had sore muscles after a race 2 weeks ago and thought i might have pulled a muscle. I just did some yoga stretches and it helped soooo much!

They are writing an article and are looking for stories and photos.


I really should be packing, but every time I pass by my computer, I have to look and see who has arrived for the weekend.

No (I don't normally get vertigo) but I am doing better now so I think I'll be okay.

you can do it, but the person picking up the packets needs the participant's signed waivers, a signed packet pick up authorization form and a copy of the participant's photo ID.

Thank you! Maybe I can fax all that stuff to a friend just in case? I wonder if that's enough?

I think a fax of all of that would suffice. I picked up another person's packet once and all of the forms were signed, scanned and emailed to me where I printed them at home...so none of the signatures were "originals"...they didn't seem to care...or even look that closely at it to be honest. They just checked that the right forms were there, glanced at the copy of the ID and handed that back to me, and gave me all the stuff...easy peasy!!!

It's for each corral. You can hear them go off as you are running if you are an earlier corral too. One clock though so the mile markers are for the first corral as is the finish line. Your official time, or chip time subtracts the time difference from when you cross the start mat.

Our first flight was cancelled and now I'm on one that gets in at 1:10PM...if that flight is not cancelled, that is!

You are driving from New Hampshire with children in one day? How long does that take? And how do you keep those kids strapped down that long?
