I stopped into Urgent Care yesterday because I have had a sore throat all week. They swab me and tell me I have the flu. I told the doc that I am running the PHM Sunday and he said "No." I said "Yes" and he just shook his head. Wish me luck. I've been downing Boiron and EmergenC like crazy.

Good luck to everyone running the Princess!! DH and I will be there running!

We were supposed to fly out yesterday from DFW but were stranded when the pilot didn't show up!! After a lengthy stay at the aiport, we were finally booked on a flight leaving this afternoon and arriving late tonight. We'll miss packet pick up for the kids races so guess we'll just hit a park in the morning and then the Expo for our stuff. So frustrating, but trying to not let it ruin the trip!!

They have allowed race day pick up for kids races every other time I have done a Disney race.

We left. The expo was nuts - we still haven't picked up our shirts.

I just got over the same issue, took about 5 days to get rid of it (no medical assistance though, just steam room, warm salt water, hot soup and ibuprofin).

Also, what color is the shirt and what does it look like? I won't make it till after I get off work today, so about 6pm.

Thanks you all! I forgot all about that!! Just called and they said that they will have the bibs before the race. Then we can go to the EXPO later in the day and pick up their shirts and other goodies!! Thanks again!

Those storms (if they do happen) usually don't come till mid afternoon, unless its part of a cold front passing through, which those usually don't have thunder. It's going to be a comfortable race start in my opinion, but if the rain does come, I won't be happy since my costume will get heavy (it's mostly cotton (it won't be touching me directly, thankfully) and it is composed of two separate dresses to look like Rapunzel).

Summer...I was at the expo when you were, but left without getting into rundisney store

Love the shirt...deep purple castle design.
Got my crown and sash too.

Was on the ME for over an hour..not so magical.

And they made me bag check at gate so I wasulling out all my race gear.
But now I'm at pool near casita 3

They are calling at race start, a 30% chance of showers at 67 degrees, 97% humidity. The humidity is typical for the morning, the showers should be sporadic. The isolated storms they are calling for isn't till after 12 noon.

On another subject, I just got out yesterday for a 4.5 mile run. It was my first run in 2 weeks since I got sick. It went well, did 8:30 min/mile, but not as good since I had the wrong shoes on. Only a couple more hours at work, then off to the expo.
