It seems to thrive off my breath as I told it somebody recently had a $77pp SSR offer accepted, and then it started looking up current resale contracts on its own.

I told my wife that we could rent the first year of points since they were "free" which really got her on board, but that was never going to happen as my plan is to use them for a one bedroom upgrade to aulani. I just got her on board with that showing her a virtual tour. Gotta hook em slowly lol!

Registering for a RunDisney event is probably on par with trying to get Taylor Swift tickets, it’s stressful and there aren’t nearly enough spots for the demand…but running down Main Street is a fantastic experience and I can’t recommend it enough

Oh wow - I must admit I was blissfully unaware. I’ve run several marathons but not in 10 years and thought those days were long gone. But this seems so fun and just something I’d love to experience once regardless of my time. So I just logged in when registration opened - with only one browser, which I’ve been told makes this even crazier - waited for about an hour and got it! So…now I have no choice!!

Oh wow - I must admit I was blissfully unaware. I’ve run several marathons but not in 10 years and thought those days were long gone. But this seems so fun and just something I’d love to experience once regardless of my time. So I just logged in when registration opened - with only one browser, which I’ve been told makes this even crazier - waited for about an hour and got it! So…now I have no choice!!

What will your point breakdown look like at each resort after these load?

My husband and I own 200 pts direct at CCV and 140 pts resale at BLT, which I always thought were more than enough for our merry band of 3 (me, hubby and our 14 year old daughter) along with the occasional RunDisney weekend or big family trip…then we stayed at Riviera last month and fell totally in love

So now I am low-key monitoring resale prices for a Riviera contract and managed to subtly plant the seed with my hubby today ….resale restrictions are a non-issue, any Riviera points we buy would be used strictly for Riviera.

Is it sneaky/manipulative of me to plant the thought of a Riviera contract in his brain and then say nothing more about it, knowing how effective that method is to get him to go along with something I want?

You do realize you are talking to a crowd of enablers, right?

Also: this is how we bought Riviera direct in 2019 (couldn't wait for resale points to show up), and then how we ended up joining the "comma club" ...

I used to think who the heck wants to run a marathon at WDW when you’re also doing 5-10 miles in the parks each day?

The idea has really started growing on me though.

The Marathon Weekend 5K that DH and I walked is one of my favorite Disney memories, and DD has now done a couple of Disney HM and one full and hopes to do more. They are indeed so much fun, so special! Enjoy!!

The character stops sound so fun that would motivate me and ofc theres some rare ones for the event I heard. Making your outfits would be fun too i just couldnt bring myself to wake up that early

Like goofy I love my Saratogy because I wouldnt be at the 1k club without it. We will see how i feel when things get harder to book after the dreaded 2042 but thats a risk im willing to take for now Still lotsa good options after
