OFFICIAL 2010 Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP) Tips and Tricks

Just joining in a bit late as DH and I are attending our first ever MVMCP during our trip in a few weeks and want to read up. Thanks for the great info, all!

The ornament is felt and that is the only ornament that I have seen.

What about the pin that has the "days til Christmas"? Does it have a wheel behind it to turn the days?

The only pictures I have seen are the dwarfs w/o any Disney guests. Can you get in the picture with them? Are there Photopass photographers to take pictures?

Absolutely! And I believe I read they have Photopass there too. Last year we got photos with SW and the Dwarfs (they were together then). There was no photopass, but my friend went a week later and there was!

We just got back. Went to the party last Friday and got pictures with the dwarfs. They are in the stroller parking next to Small World. We got in line at 8:25 while everyone was watching the 1st parade and dwarfs came at 8:30. We had our pictures taken and done by 8:35 p.m. They were great!

Thanks for the quick response. Great strategy to see the 7 dwarfs at 8:30 during the first parade! Think we will do this. A picture with the 7 dwarfs is one of our top priorities for this trip. Also want a picture with Jiminy Cricket at AK. Hope he might have some holiday garb???

Keep in mind that night was reported to be a fairly low attendance night. This might not work as well on a very busy night.

They only have one exclusive MVMCP ornament. Just the felt one pictured.

The countdown pin has a wheel that you spin to adjust the date. It counts down 12 days.

When you visit the princesses....... was it Aurora on the right, the first you meet? Then maybe Snow White/Belle with Cindy last, on the left?

We're figuring our costume plan of attack.......

Aurora and Prince Phillip were in the first tent, Cinderella and Prince Charming in the middle tent, and Snow white and Snow Prince on the end tent. When Belle and Beast were there, they replaced Snow White in the last tent.

Tonight my family and I were finalizing our Disney plans. And we know that at the Halloween party there is a carriage to take pictures on. My disney obsessed mother-in-law wants to get a picture of my niece on the carriage. Can someone please let me know whether her dreams of the carriage being there at the Christmas party will be crushed. OR do I get to give her a very special early Christmas present and let her know that the carriage will be there at the Christmas party!

i wish they would put the carriage out for display during the MVMCP, imagine how beautiful it could be decorated with the white lights and red poinsettias?

Just so you know, last Friday (Nov 12) the order was slightly different only when Belle and Beast were there. In our case, it was Belle/Beast, then Aurora/Philip, and Cindy/Charming last. This worked for us because we only needed to see Belle and Beast at that point, and I noticed the others looked a little different than 30 minutes before. I did the "nothing to see here" routine for DD6 as we skipped them....
