OFFICIAL 2010 Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP) Tips and Tricks

Anyone know if the free cookies and cocoa are "peanut safe?" We have to be very careful with cross contamination, so cookies are usually off limits unless I can see the packaging. Thanks.

Yes, good question. Are the cookies individually wrapped, and is there an ingredient list available? Thanks.

The cookies are not wrapped - they "wrap" 2 of them in a napkin and hand them to you - and they appeared to be sugar cookies with sprinkles...I didn't notice any peanuts. Nor did I notice any ingredient list.

We asked for allergy-friendly cookies the last time we went and there weren't any. We were given apple slices instead.

There are sugar-free cookies at some locations, though.

Do they have any cookies without sprinkles? My son can't tolerate artificial food color.

No, they didn't have any cookies without sprinkles. And the spot we went to first for cocoa and cookies didn't have the apple slices yet.

FYI -- On Friday night, some of the treat stations closed early (10:30) and they directed us to Crystal Palace or Tomorrowland Terrace (I think that was where they sent us....).

That overhead map helps me describe "our" spot better. I was trying to say we watch from the purple path in the lower part of the hub area. About halfway between near the tree, but not obviously behind it. The advantage we like is that it does not feel as cramped as most other good viewing spots. DW said to me that on Friday it felt like it was just her and DD6 and no one else around. (I was behind them on the back side of the path with the camcorder.)

Thanks for the tip. It will be nice to know we have somewhere to go that we don't have to arrive hours ahead of time. It gives us more time to do other things at the party. Really appreciate you sharing this with us.

Thanks for the allergy information. I'm not worried about peanuts being in the cookies - we wouldn't eat them if they were obviously PB cookies! But I am worried about how they were made, if there was any PB nearby (cross contamination), and, if there are chocolate chips, if they are safe. (Most aren't.) Such a lot to have to deal with, and so unfair to have to miss out when you are just a child. :sad1:

If Main Street Bakery still carries Divvies, we'll stock up on them instead. Would be nice is these were the free cookies they offered.

A questions to those who just got back and saw Mickey and Minnie....what were they wearing? I'm wondering if they look different this year.

Thanks!

Can't tell you if they're different or not, only that they looked like this:

Go to the third pic down listed under MVMCP 2010. Do not pay attention to the pics of them in the header at the very top....

Are there any Photopass magic shots that are exclusive to MVMCP?

Please keep us posted on this as you return. I'm extremely excited about our visit at the end of the month and I'm keeping up to date on all the little things.
Thanks to everyone!

Does anyone who have been to the MVMCP have any pictures, descriptions, or prices of the MVMCP ornaments and pins? We are not going until Dec.19 and afraid that they are going to sell out before then so a wonderful diser is going to get mine next weekend when she goes. I need to tell her what I want and send her some money. Thanks.:goodvibes

A few more questions...
Is the ornament felt?
Does one of the ornaments say "days til Christmas"? Does it have a wheel in the back or something to change the days? Thank you so much:goodvibes

The ornament is felt and that is the only ornament that I have seen.
