OFFICIAL 2010 Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP) Tips and Tricks

Oh my gosh, my DD(4) is going to cry. The dance party with the Tremaines has been her absolute favorite thing at MVMCP the last 2 years. (She didn't care for the one over at Cosmic Rays (too crowded, too many bigger kids running over her; too much rap type music; too many strobe lights) She was a little unhappy last year because there was no Twas the Night. I guess I better start getting her ready now. Thanks for the warning...it never crossed my mind that with the Grotto gone they wouldn't just put the Stepmother and Stepsister's party somewhere else. It seemed like a huge hit with the 6 and under girls.

I feel the same way. We spent about 45 minutes there on our last trip and had an absolute ball! Since she doesn't really care about Toy Story, the replacement doesn't do much with us.

FYI..... since Belle's Storytime clsoed, and the new Rapunzel meet & Greet took out the seating in that spot, I think we can assume no Belle's Enchanted Storytime either.

So excited for everyone on this thread!!! :goodvibes:goodvibes Can't wait for the first parties to start, and the feedback to start coming in!

Is there anyone going on November 8th that can give us a report the next day?? I am so anxious to find out what this year's party map looks like!!! I have never been?

Be sure to check WDW site as well, looks like they had a link for a PDF of MNSSHP map under that event so perhaps they will post one for this party soon.

Just purchased our tickets today as we are taking a friend for her bday on Nov 30th and then just doing our family time on Dec 2nd. Looking forward to another year of Christmas party time with Mickey and Co!!! This is my fave time of the year to go to Disney!!! :santa:

Hey Mary T! I just noticed we are practically neighbors... and going close to the same time!

I've tried to read the whole thread but I haven't found any top tips for a MVMCCP newbie (or I didn't get it) Could someone give a Top 5?? What to do 1st?? When to get there?? Where to eat?? Must do or sees??? Thanks very much I'm really excited. Going on the Nov 8th.

I was debating even going to this party as we didn't think the Halloween one two years ago was that great, but after looking at these pics we are definitely going!

We'll be there Dec 11-19. Any idea on what day would be the best to go?

I saw a pic of the festive snow/Mickey ears balloon within a balloon. DD says "Awww!" Does anyone know how much these typically cost?

We will be there Nov 19th!! Can't wait....this is our 4th time!!! :santa:
I absolutely love the holiday feeling you get from being there!!

I think they cost $20...we haven't bought one, but we inquired about it the last 2x we were there...we will probably give in this time!
